Former President Barack Obama campaigned for former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe on Saturday, urging voters to dismiss controversial issues raised by parents of children in public schools.

Parents in Virginia and around the country are furious over a report of a female student who was allegedly raped by a “gender fluid” boy in a in a public school girls’ bathroom in Loudoun County.

They were even more furious after the Loudoun County school system tried to cover up the assault, and prosecute the victim’s father for speaking out during a school board meeting. The 14-year-old was arrested in July and charged with two counts of forcible sodomy.

Obama dismissed the recent controversies as “fake outrage,” and “trumped-up culture wars” although he did not specifically refer to the incident.

The Loudoun County student accused of sexually assaulting a ninth-grade girl in a bathroom on May 28 was found guilty on all charges Monday.

The student, described as a biological male who was wearing a skirt at the time of the incident, sexually assaulted the victim in a girl's restroom at Stone Bridge High School.

A judge concluded that the evidence presented was enough to convict the accused but will wait on the sentencing until the student is tried for a separate alleged assault at a different high school earlier this month.

Wendy Martinez, a senior advisor for Phil Murphy told a Project Veritas journalist the governor is waiting to impose the mandates until after the election because the “independents and undecided” will not vote for him if he did mandates.

Yesterday on YouTube, I was treated to at least two ads from Mrs. Sears' campaign. Quite well done, and one was 2A centered in focus. One from Mr. Miyares also, well done. I could have opted to skip the ads, but I didn't. As others have noted we aren't given the Freedom to skip McAwful's.

I don’t “trust” Dems and vote counting. “Trust but verify” doesn’t even matter with these guys, as has been proven by the 2020 Election results in a half-dozen contested States.

One of the talking heads made the argument that any early voters might have missed the most recent scandals and the votes would most likely follow the polled vote split from weeks ago.
The new scandals are really changing the landscape quickly. Hopefully this light early turnout will spell the end of the current commie.

News reports on the radio were that Pelosi was going to try to have a vote this afternoon. Oddly enough, scuttlebutt on the radio this morning was that they wanted to pass something, or at least cut a deal, so that Joe could go off to Europe and brag about how committed (hah!) the U.S. is to combatting global warming. I suspect the argument about 'saving Virginia' was all to obviously pulled out of someone's butt on the fly.

Republican Glenn Youngkin has moved ahead of Democrat Terry McAuliffe in the Virginia governor’s race, less than a week before the election.

McAuliffe receives 45 percent to Youngkin’s 53 percent in a new Fox News survey of Virginia likely voters. Youngkin’s eight-point advantage is outside the poll’s margin of sampling error.

What changed? GOP enthusiasm. The race is largely focused on education and this has energized Republicans, as 79 percent of Youngkin supporters are "extremely" interested in the election compared to 69 percent of McAuliffe supporters.

The survey, released Thursday, finds movement in the views of parents. They backed McAuliffe by 10 points two weeks ago. Now, they go for Youngkin by 14. On the question of which candidate they trust to handle education, Youngkin’s previous 1-point edge among parents has widened to 12.

Elias left Perkins Coie when it became clear he was identified in the John Durham indictment of Michael Sussmann.

Elias has been the DEM junk yard dog in challenges to election results for a number of years.

Elias’ work embodies the inherent hypocrisy of some advocates and some in the media on election challenges. He often solicits contributions to challenge election results while denouncing Republicans for challenging election results.

Elias has not been criminally charged in his actions related to the 2020 election. Yet, bringing Elias into the Virginia race in the midst of the Durham investigation is an astonishing decision by McAuliffe. There are a host of election lawyers but McAuliffe selected an attorney accused of lying to the media, advancing rejected conspiracy theories, and currently involved in a major federal investigation that has already led to the indictment of his former partner.

Then again McAuliffe previously declared “You help me, I’ll help you. That’s politics.”

He's looking at a mountain of legal bills, too. And he's a potential witness, so it'd be good if his lawyers got paid.
