Having previously lived in the Old Dominion state for nearly 10 years, and being a conservative, I love that VA has elected Glenn Youngkin Governor (and looks like Winsome Sears as LTG and Jason Miyares as AG). Fricking Hat Trick!! Kudos VA!!!

I was driving through Loudon County a couple weeks ago and couldnt believe such a beautiful and prosperous area was Ground Zero for the CRT push in schools. It saddened me to see the liberal/socialist bastions of NoVa and Richmond dictate wokeness to what is largely a Red State.

Have a lot of pleasant phone calls to make to friends that are still there!

GOP needs to adopt this strategy in all future races, at every level. Candidates that have each other's back. Talking to voters on a level that they can appreciate about topics that they care about. Seems like common sense to me.

It certainly didnt hurt that McAwful was being honest when he was parroting the socialist mantra that parents dont have any business telling schools how to indoctrinate teach the children.

I texted my brother in Roanoke (my hometown) congratulations. He’s so excited that he’s texted back five replies. For years conservatives in VA have been sullen over the direction of the elections, especially those people in the Shenandoah Valley and SW Virginia as a whole. This is their day. I couldn’t be more pleased.

They try to repeat a lie enough times hoping people will believe it, e.g. "CRT isnt being taught in VA...it doesnt exist!!"

Ya know, my Facebook feed was just filled with Biden telling people to get out and vote in Virginia. I live in Washington, I've never been to Virginia, I don't follow Biden, but still every other vote was Pedo Joe telling me we had to get out and vote D in Virginia. I am counting the days till I can find a job and move back to VA. (Probably not back to the Richmond, VA area though)

I hope this win starts to right the slide into degradation that the Commonwealth has been sliding into the last few years.

The news stated 2009 was the last time an R was voted into the Mansion

I'm a little nervous about what the current VA admin is going to try to push through before Jan.

I saw Juan Clueless Williams Himself and several other DNC reps make their various simplistic misrepresentations about CRT, last night as late as around 7PM Pacific Time.

Thanks for being one of the good ones. My entire formal education from primary through college has been in Virginia. I also was once one of the good ones, albeit in a private school. I should be clearer. I've a long history with leftist propaganda put forth by teachers unions, and teachers in Oregon, Washington, and CT. VIRGINIA has nothing on those three states. The teachers union has a strangle hold on their legislatures. Every god damn one of them. They swap spots for number one and number two political groups with Tribal casinos every few years.

VA has a long way to go to become their kind of hell hole. My pointed remarks are at those white liberal self-hating wankers that do think Terry was talking about other teachers and not them. No, hunny, terry was talking about all white teachers. Not racist ones.

Virginia is an interesting state. Often the way it votes mirrors future elections on the national level. Virginia a lot like America contends with having vast conservative leaning rural areas as well as quite a few large cities and metropolitan areas that lean democrat. I tend to believe the way Virginia goes is a pretty damn good indicator of what to expect in future elections nation wide. This gives me quite a bit of hope and optimism. It gives the GOP some new rising stars (hopefully) a most importantly it provides a winning formula to analyze and hopefully utilize in future elections.

To be honest I am surprised. Sure the democrats have stumbled quite a bit lately but to lose this big in Virginia after winning that state in the presidential race by such a comfortable margin is a significant change.
