We're in the 90s, with days more on the horizon.

Low of 68, high of 83 for tomorrow.

That's all about to change from a low of hotter than a nine dollar stove, to a high of burn in the fires of perdition!

It's 89 here and I am sitting in the house with the a/c off and a long sleeved shirt on.

I'm almost always cold as I'm anemic and I am getting away with the no a/c stuff 'cause my wife is out in Las Vegas. Just me and the Wonder Dog and she never complains (as long as I have the treat jar close at hand).

It’s 2134 hours central time and 81° with 60% humidity here in Temple Texas.

I’m going to the uk next week and I’m curious how they handle “the heat”. I’m sure it’ll be hot when we get back.

Hit 64° earlier this afternoon (according to NOAA) with occasional light rain.
Probably good news for the runners in our local 100 mile foot race, although with 45% RH it may feel a little muggy. Wink

Drove back to FL from MI Thursday and Friday. The vehicle’s AC quit working on Friday when the outside temp hit 90. It was 104 heading towards Atlanta. The humidity really picked up close to FL.

Looks like we're gonna plateau at 98 today. Average high of 108 over the last 30 days, so considerably cooler than last summer, but much drier. Fire restrictions have gone on longer this year than any other year in the last ten besides 2020. They went on through November that year. Had some good storms roll through late this last week, hopefully we get more of that before monsoon season ends. I'd trade hotter for more rain at this point.

Man I wish I'd stayed in Wyoming. There was frost on the tent one morning when I woke up in the Bighorns last month. It was glorious.

It's 88 with the heat index in the mid 90s here. Like it's been just about every day since June. My electric bill was $300 last month and I've got the thermostat set at 77. It hardly seems fair that we have temps in the -20 to -40 range in the winter and still have to put up with this shit for two to three months out of the year. If I wanted it hot, muggy, and loaded with bugs I'd live in Florida. I can't wait for fall.
