I realize the lynch mob has already formed but, for what it's worth, I know another charity who was told by Yeti that it was discontinuing the program. The program in question was basically supplying half priced merchandise to nonprofit organizations to sell, raffle, etc to help raise funds. Yeti apparently eliminated the whole program, or replaced it with a different program. Clearly the NRA went with the nuclear response.

I'm glad this happened. Every time we turn around, some virtue-signalling company is sticking their fucking nose into the fight for our gun rights, and usually against us.

I want these slow-thinking company execs to get it through their fucking thick skulls that we have had MORE than enough and we are fighting back and have no interest in listening to their excuses. When they indicate or flat-out state that they are against us, they can expect us to do whatever we can to diminish their company.

Enough is enough

Whatever. They knew exactly what they were doing and immediately had it rammed down their throats. So they claim 'misrepresentation'. They made their choice and now they can suck it.

As well they (and we) should.

We are dealing with an irrational enemy and need to responded in kind when this kind of bullshit pops up, so others contemplating the act of being a pussy virtue-signaler think twice about slighting the NRA (and us).

The time to be quite is over.

Fuck Yeti, still and always.

Like I said, lynch mob has formed..... Yeti has changed its program for all non-profits. NRA asked to keep their old program, Yeti said no. NRA took to fight public and made a 2A issue out of a vendor disagreement. I guess everyone who does business with the NRA has to abide by whatever terms are dictated to them or risk being labeled anti 2A?

Just received the same response. They have to understand that millennials, liberals, Democrats, man-bun-boys, progressives and anti-conservatives don’t hunt, fish, camp or buy guns, exactly who Yeti’s customers are.

As for the whole virtue signaling thing, who made this spat public? The NRA did, not Yeti. If Yeti wanted to "virtue signal" like Dick's and the others they would have announced their move, right? Why would they wait for the NRA to take the issue public if they were trying to make a polical statement?

I continue my whatever. Again they KNEW exactly what they are doing: timing can be a real bitch.

As I said, I'm glad this happened. I hope all other companies which are aware of this matter can see just how very quickly gun owners are reacting to this crap.

TXJIM, you think you're not being heard. The real issue is that we are fed the fuck up and we are in no mood to be reasonable. I have had it and I know I am not alone in that respect.

I hear you too Para, and I am with you. But, I we can be pissed and ready to fight without succumbing to group think mob action when those on our side use questionable tactics. I understand Yeti ended the same program with CCA (Coastal Conservation Association) too, I don't think Yeti is anti fishing. Yeti never "sponsored" the NRA and didn't stop sponsoring the NRA. They made house wide changes to a program that the NRA took advantage of to raise funds. The NRA wanted to keep the old deal and threw a tantrum when Yeti balked.

I'm tired of being reasonable as well. If Yeti's statement was true they would have been screaming soon as the first whiff hit the internet not waiting to see the fallout.

Screw Yeti and any other company who pulls this type of crap. Like someone said earlier, good luck selling your coolers to the millennials.

I think Yeti was trying to have their cake and eat it too. Have some ammunition when the pussy virtue signalers they live with come calling, but keep the outdoors people who make their business possible.

As for the NRA virtue signaling, they simply presented their opinion on what was going on - vendor ends program without explanation - they have seen this dance before and are fighting it.

People can draw their own conclusions, whether they are for holding the line (us) or making concessions / apologizing (you).

If this year and a half has taught us anything, it's never apologize.

NEVER.
