I own ORCA coolers.

https://www.orcacoolers.com

Made in TENNESSEE. They make good products without, as far as I can tell, any of the bullshit politics.

“...We will continually support our customers for their loyalty by giving back to those organizations and groups that benefit them – Wounded Warrior programs, breast cancer programs, national conservation organizations and local community groups. One of our primary tenets is to help increase America’s work force through the manufacture of our products in the United States. ORCA pledges our products will exceed our customers’ expectations or we will do what it takes to ensure their satisfaction.”

My apologies for the picture size - I wanted to highlight the fact that Orca coolers are MADE IN THE USA for those unaware.

That means those geniuses that have bought YETI coolers have been overpaying for Chinese junk when they could have gotten a better, US made product for CHEAPER. Mindboggling...

Oh. These are sold by MidwayUSA...

Walmart double-walled cups are just as good as the expensive Yeti brand from my own experience. Many YouTube comparison videos have also shown this. God Bless Smile

I just re-read your post. I do not think they are the same. Maybe produced on the same manufacturing line and company but not owned by Yeti.

I only have the Yeti because I came across them while shopping for something else and had not seen a mug like that, before.

In any event: No matter, as I won't be buying Yeti products anymore.

Thanks for sharing this info gang. I'll avoid them at all costs now, and just wrote them a nice note as to why I will not ever consider purchasing their products in the future.

Ozark Trail it will be then.

When will companies stop trying to get into politics when their purpose should be to make money?

Look at Bison coolers instead. I like their design better than Yeti and Bison coolers are actually made in the USA. I have the 50qt and the small soft cooler and both are excellent.

A good friend gave me a Yeti growler a while back. It does a great job (despite being empty too soon). Wink

I'm thinking now, maybe I can put an NRA sticker over the Yeti logo. Razz

God bless America.

Well played, Yeti. Well played.

Because disenfranchised leftist community-organizing faux-outraged latter-day-hippies buy a lot of $400 coolers. You're REALLY solidifying your market position with THAT demographic, all right.

I love the sound of liberal-owned businesses trying to force the genie back into the bottle, which should begin in three... two...

I never bought into Yeti, my cooler or cups. I did get a Yeti coffee mug for Christmas and will continue to use it. If I'd bought it, I'd take it out to the range.

bless their hearts - they've done a masterful job of PR

must be a lot of MENSA members working there to have the balls to make that kind of decision

wat to go, a big shout out to yet another stupid company

much like Dicks deciding not to sell something based on appearance...and then thinking the best solution will be to destroy what they have...

good on them

I hope they suffer painfully

I just sent them my response. Polite, but firm. Never again to do business them, for their position on guns.

Awesome, another corporation who got "woke" and got on the right side of the issue. The funny thing is, most of the time I see a yeti sticker it's on the back of a gas guzzling truck, right next to a gun sticker. I don't recall seeing yeti plastered on a prius.

Yeti coolers are to men what those $800 purses are to women. Just over paying so you can show your friends the label.

My note to them.

My family and I were Yeti customers. I took a quick count and found 5 coolers and several tumblers. We are outdoors enthusiasts and are affluent. It's ironic that we are packing today for a week long turkey hunting trip (me, my wife, and our son). The next trip we take will be the following week to the NRA annual meetings in Dallas. You see, we are all three NRA members as well.
I don't know what triggered you to dump as as customers. We thought Yeti was a good choice for people who hunt, fish, boat, and travel often. We always had some type of Yeti product with us at all times.
More important to us though, than your products, is our American citizenship and the rights and responsibilities as such.
Your choice to abandon us will not be forgotten and you have lost us forever.
