How long have you been here?

Sorry boss

I got carried away there.

They won’t let Fetterman near a podium again.

I'm a retired nurse & it's not uncommon for stroke patients to have problems processing conversations, and to have word finding problems. Some get rehabilitated, some don't; but being a Senator requires listening to arguments, making speeches, and participating in debates. Even if we disregard his pro-crime, anti-American views, the guy is not qualified. Not that that means anything nowadays.

The tin foil hat theory here in PA is that if Fetterman gets elected Senator, and Shapiro gets elected governor. Fetterman then steps down due to health reasons, & Shapiro appoints Fetterman's wife, the real brains of the outfit, to fill the position. So, Biden's flub last week saying that Gisele Fetterman will be good in the Senate may not be too far off.

He’s got knob and tube instead of a PC board, and most of it is shorted out.

Wow. Way to connect the dots. It was a gaffe but the gaffe was that Biden blurted out something he was exposed to. It does not sound too far off to me.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

My daughter, a Vietnamese Trump loving, Republican, and very conservative, said yesterday she wasn't gonna vote for Oz.

I have the impression he's just not liked or, perhaps, respected in PA.

But she had never heard the expression "hold your nose and vote..." so she may do that, just not sure if she can make herself vote for someone she apparently really doesn't like..

That mindset baffles me to no end. I truly don't understand it.

That’s just stupid, IMO. Does she not realize she’s shooting herself right in the foot? Is she angry that Kathy Barnette didn’t get the nomination?

I don't like Oz...at all. But not voting for him is a vote for a Dem controlled Senate. So I'll vote for Oz, although I trust him only slightly more than Fetterman.

I just don't understand it myself. I think (just now talked to her) she's gonna vote right, but she's not happy about it. I told her Dad would be happy so I think she will.

I don't like Oz one bit and honestly I'm pretty ticked that the candidates we have to choose from this cycle are Oz and Fetterman. It's a shame that these are who was selected to represent our state. I don't care which party your affiliated with it's disgraceful that we can't put forth more qualified individuals who actually represent the people of PA.

With all that being said I'll be filling in the bubble for Oz. There's not a chance in hell I'd sit by and not attempt to ensure that Fetterman doesn't get elected.

I don't trust Oz either. We really don't know at all how he would vote in the Senate. At this point, his past statements don't mean all that much to me being that he was mostly a TV personality saying those things. He could be as Conservative as Ted Cruz or as squishy as Mitt Romney. Who would have ever thought that Donald Trump would be the most Conservative President since Coolidge when he was elected in 2016?

However, what we do know is exactly how Fetterman will vote which is why the decision in this race is frankly an easy one. For the love of Pete, please vote for Oz.

Yup, Fetterman is a known quantity that will be far left, OZ is unknown as of yet but assumptions are that he will be similar to Toomey if not dead center.

The big thing is to get Mastriano in there and in the future get Kathy Barnette into an elected position somewhere.

Voting has become alot like owning an indoor cat. You just keep checking the box for another piece of shit.

One doesn't always have the luxury of voting for a Goldilocks candidate. To not vote is the adult equivalent of taking one's bat and going home. I'm amazed by the number of folks who claim to not have voted for an otherwise qualified candidate simply because they don't like his or her demeanor. This mentality, if applied in a survival scenario, could easily result in one's death. It's a careless and childish approach.

Are you one of those "not voting is a vote for the other side" guys?

One vote for Oz cancels out one vote for Fetterman. So, yes. Not voting, or voting for a third party candidate is the same as a vote for the other side.
