At this point we need to focus on how the hell to get our troops out of Kabul without any more casualties. All the rest of that crap can be dealt with later. Focus on the priorities of the moment...

Nope. No quotas. If we start the operation you note, the goal should be to kill as many of these barbarians as possible with zero compassion or negotiation. We have the ability to bring unimaginable violence in response. Its time for those in charge to grow a pair and unleash absolute hell on these people.

I agree that is a more urgent and immediate task. Please share what you and I can do now to get our troops out of Kabul.

I can definitely see ISIS and other groups stepping up their game, trying to export terrorism any way they can.

The first thing that comes to mind is flooding the phones and email of your reps and senators, you know, the ones on vacation right now, and tell them to get their worthless asses back to Washington and start putting pressure on this POS president and his cast of retards to get their shit together and get our troops out.

Those saying that our allies should be furious about how events have unfolded....I'm just gonna ask WHY? They were complicit in the tear down of EVERYTHING Donald J. Trump. There were instances where they could have done the right thing, but they were shills for the DNC and the globalist elites. Sure bet they wish they had 45 back now, but noooooo, they took active rolls in getting Donald J. Trump out of office. FUCK THEM! I feel no pity for those countries that Biden has betrayed because they asked for it.

As to the lives lost today and going forward: I will miss every single one of you. Rest in Peace brothers!

Biden is huddling with his national security team now. Which means someone is probably feeding him apple sauce.

He’s going to have to take some questions, there’s no way he can just mumble something quick and run off again. Mad

Left a phone mail message with my worthless House Rep similar to this email I also sent her.

Very simple. If you are not in Washington DC 'right now' you need to get on a flight and be there asap. The fact Congress is on vacation while Kabul Airport is under siege and 12 US military personnel have been killed (so far) is reprehensible and utterly irresponsible. You need to be putting extreme pressure on the current administration to get their act together and get our troops out of A-stan before any more are killed or injured. And that doesn't even begin to address what most certainly will be the upcoming hostage issues this country will face due to the abject failure of this administration's efforts so far.

You're being paid to represent us and do a job. I suggest you go do it.

CentCom Commander, General Kenneth McKenzie Jr. is thus far proving to be a very unimpressive leader. I’m tired of hearing, “We’re doing everything we can.” No general, you’re not, or we wouldn’t be having this press conference.

Having spent some time in Afghanistan, my impression is they're hopeless. There are some good Afghans, don't get me wrong, but most simply don't care.

Before we left, I wrote about 3-4 letters of recommendation for the interpreters who worked with us. To my knowledge, at least 2 of them made it to America but I have lost touch with them. These were guys who patrolled with us everyday and put their lives on the line even more so than us because:

1. they weren't allowed to be armed
2. they were in great danger after leaving the Americans, they could be searched at Taliban checkpoints, etc.

I know one ended up in the Dallas area and worked at Taco Bell briefly. Not sure why but I thought that was pretty awesome.

Yesterday I was thinking of commenting on the Washington Post's increasingly critical tone towards Biden. And now this. What an incompetent, guilty fool.

Joe must spend most of his time in the basement, playing water gun balloon pop or maybe toss the beanbag. Since this was not a decision he was capable of entirely making on his own, who or what group is influencing his "foreign policy"?

My hope is that the Democrats are absolutely wiped out in the midterms. The only way to do that is to make this about Biden and his incompetence with this fiasco, the border, rising crime, and inflation. It's not about Trump. It's not about last election. The less said about him, the better.

I know there are Biden voters who have buyers remorse. I know a lot of people across the political spectrum. Some I know will be happy to vote Republican, as long as it's not somehow a pro-Trump vote. That's just a fact.

Yes sir. As I’ve been preaching to friends and family for years, elections have consequences.

Calling Congress back is a completely useless endeavor. There’s a reason the framers of the constitution made the President CoC and kept Congress out of it. Saying nothing about who the President currently is, was, or will be, they knew that giving Congress a voice in deciding military action would be a clown show. Them being in session will just be a ton of political posturing, with zero value with regards to the tactical situation on the ground today, tomorrow, or next week. The Executive branch doesn’t need Congress to pass some funding bill because the DoD has enough money to do whatever they need to do right now. The DoD also doesn’t need “consultations” with Congress about what to do. For better or worse, The President, JCOS, and DOD own this, and getting Congress involved isn’t going to in any way make it better.
