Homemade Horchata. Next batch will be made with 1/2 the amount of sweetened condensed milk.

I’m finishing up a job and was gifted some great stuff! Stagg jr, eagle rare, and 2 bottles of Weller 12. Cracked into the weller 12 and I can’t believe I didn’t stock up when it was plentiful years ago, it’s delicious.

I tried an Old Fashioned for the first time. Decent drink but I’d enjoy Glenlivet with water just as much if not more and it’s simpler. Bitters smelled like some Avon cologne. Thankfully it did not taste like it.

I have wanted to try this for a few years but have not seen it for sale until today.

The distillery opened in 2016 just North of Blanco Texas. I lived about 30 miles South of it until 2018.

Andalusia Stryker Texas Smoked Single Malt. Andalusia Whiskeys

Description from their web page: Stryker adopts the Scottish tradition of smoking malted barley that is destined to be used in their signature Islay Scotches. Rather than burning peat, however, Stryker is mashed from malted barley that has been smoked in the Texas BBQ tradition: with oak, mesquite, and apple woods.
