It didn't get any national attention, but when she came to Phoenix for an event during the campaign, not one single supporter (other than media) showed up. Not one. The campaign didn't even think to try to bus in some college Dems.

I think the CNN excuse was that it was for the "visually impaired." People who are blind from birth don't know what blue looks like, so I don't know why it'd matter. People who later became blind probably don't care about the color of a speaker's clothes, ditto for color blind people and plenty of legally blind people could still make out colors. So I don't know WTF they were thinking.

In lieu of speechwriters, Harris simply makes a simple, obvious, unnecessary observation about the topic at hand, then picks one word out of what she wants to say, and repeats it all throughout her remarks. She's done this many times. In this instance, she simply used the word "community" five times in one sentence.
