I'm not going to bet until we have facts from an investigation rather than media posts.
In the meantime, FAB.

Somebody was killed
Somebody has to answer for it

If blood splatter was on his clothing how close would he have to be when he fired? On the other hand did he grab one of the victims after the incident.

It doesn't matter how it turns out. Usually with these coverups, the truth comes out so long after the incident in question, people don't even notice.

Here's what's important- Alec Baldwin held a pistol, pointed it, pulled the trigger and fired it. He killed someone with a handgun. He killed an innocent person. He's damaged goods for the rest of his life. You can see the memes and jokes have already started. He will will never live this down. It doesn't matter if he pays a psychotherapist 1500 per hour to brainwash him into "being at peace" with this killing. Doesn't matter. Alec Baldwin was already a hated person with a horrible reputation. This incident will be used to bludgeon him whenever he (inevitably) opens his fat fucking mouth to preach at or berate anyone, anywhere. His greatest punishment is that he will now have to pick and choose his battles and he will have to actually measure his words before shitting them out of his face. He will have to be on his guard, constantly, and that is tragic for royalty such as he. It is tragic, because he realizes now that the rules actually do apply to him. The party's over, son.

I'll say it again- God has a sense of humor, because you could not pick a bigger Hollywood hypocrite on legal gun ownership than Alec "Sixgun" Baldwin.

Now we're just acting out an old western. Which one, one of many. But, if any site on the internet would promote hanging before a trial, it ain't this one.
There ain't no hurry. Hence the restrictions on posts after mass shootings.
In the meantime, FAB. Maybe you missed the video I posted earlier.
All I'm saying is, I'm eager for more info and I don't want it from the media. I want the truth so I can have the satisfaction.

Oooh this is such a true statement. In my opinion this has just replaced the Petito story. No longer does Fox have the missing girl as a headline, they now have the Baldwin shooting as a headline. Amazing.

I didn't read the entire thread, but how in the hell do live rounds get onto a movie set where guns are being used? I would think that would be Rule #1. We can debate the negligent handling of a firearm, but there should be no possible way for any of the movie guns to be loaded with live ammo.

I think when it's all said and done, the armorer is going to be the one that's ultimately found negligent.

Im there. From what I have read there has been lots of rules broken but from what I have read about the chain of custody a case against Baldwin will be difficult to prove.

Yes, this is a change from my earlier assessment.

Probably the most important of the so-called “four” rules is to not point a firearm at someone we’re not intending or at least prepared to kill. But that happens all the time in movies and TV shows. Just how does anyone think that it would be possible to depict someone’s being shot or having a gun pointed at him without having a gun pointed at him? Today, perhaps, but certainly not even in the recent past. Real firearms being pointed at people whom there is no intention to kill is also a common feature of certain law enforcement training.

As I say, proper stringent safety measures are absolutely essential in such situations but they consist of far more than mindless reliance on “don’t point a gun at anything (or anyone) you don’t intend to destroy (or kill).”

How's working out for them??? Seems it didn't. I stand by what I said, movie or no movie.

I hate to bring this up, but there have been training accidents, even within LEO classes from the "4 rules" being broken.

What's the first think you do when you are given a firearm?

Assuming this article is largely true (I know, a big assumption with today's media)

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news...APQURx?ocid=BingNews

An assistant director gave the firearm to Alex Baldwin. At that point, shouldn't Baldwin have determined for himself the state of the firearm>

Not stated, but presumably, someone gave the firearm to the assistant director. At that point, shouldn't the assistant director have determined the state of the firearm?

Precisely,
You reap what you sow.
That's the universal TRUTH, in this life or the next.
that is no hanging before a trial.

Hypocrisy has an expiration date.
