It would only take a few minutes to cobble together an impressive list of people who died riding/ flying rockets built by the best and brightest. Are their deaths somehow more meaningful for having died as a result of crashing in a "professionally designed" rocket?

I read that the rocket scraped on the launch assembly during takeoff, and appeared to damage the parachutes. I believe many, many persons with a reasonable amount of technical could build a moderate lift rocket such as this, and be successful.

Based on the look on his face in the photo opp, did I detect any unplaced pride or hubris ? Naw... he was a great man, all the way to the flat ground, at least he was right about the groud at least, a high price to prove that at least the ground is flat. And very hard too ...
I am not usually saddened by fools or cranks accidentally killing themselves during incredibly high risk manuvers (stunts).

After that he is definitely a flat Earther.
