We are all on the list.

When the Chinese hacked OPM years ago, they got everything on me and my family that was done via DoD class by the FBI. Got my father as well.

We post here … list.

So fucking what?

Ever work with the government? I have.

Unafraid!

Washington is preparing for the arrival of a convoy of truckers protesting COVID restrictions, including one group that is set to drive en masse from California to the nation's capital.

The "People's Convoy," which is calling for the immediate lifting of the national emergency declared in response to the pandemic, is due to depart Wednesday from the Adelanto Stadium in Southern California and embark on a cross-country protest over the next 10 days.

Truckers will drive through states such as Texas, Oklahoma and Maryland before their planned arrival in the D.C. Beltway area on the evening of Saturday, March 5.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I don’t think Americans are quite as polite as our brethren Canadians.

I posted this in the Canada mandate protest thread, but maybe it's better here.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had also heard the convoy was scheduled to arrive in D.C. by 1 Mar. for the SOUA, but the convoy website shows they aren't scheduled to arrive in D.C. until 5 Mar.
The People's Convoy
The People's Convoy organizers have watched what happened in Canada and taken steps to avoid problems, including accepting donations that are under the custodianship of attorneys that will transfer them into a small private bank, at each stop on the route the trucks will be overnighting on private land owned by supporters, and there will be security provided, including bomb sniffing K9s.
In an interview I caught with a convoy organizer, she said they estimated that it would cost $75K per day to cover fuel, food, and other expenses incurred by the number of truckers expected to participate.
Just checking their website again, apparently they have added a new way to support the movement, as you can now buy a seat on one of the convoy trucks. Riding shotgun in a big rig sounds like a great way to experience this moment in history.
The Feds are worried. They're calling in the troops! Literally and figuratively. Cops from all around. I have family members who are going for work, they need the OT. Going to get paid to stand around as trucks drive by and be part of the show. Roll Eyes
Tie up the Beltway? Who gets hurt by that? None of the Washington DC elites live outside the Beltway anyway.
What about the little people who need to get to work but won't be able to? Tie up the Beltway, and my daughter won't be able to pick up her son at Day Care at the end of the long work day. Ambulances won't get through. Stuff people need won't get delivered. Average everyday people heading to work or going home won't be able to get there, costing them time and money.
Is this aimed at Brandon? What if I told you my daughter is a conservative, and doesn't vote for anyone on the Left? Would you still want to disrupt her life and keep her from going to work and picking up her kid, protesting mandates that are going away anyway? What do you hope to achieve with that?
The Canadian truckers had a gripe about vaccine mandates that required them to be vaccinated upon returning to Canada at the border. But as of 22 Jan 22, truckers entering the U.S. were required to have a vaccine card. So every one of them that comes to the U.S. should have already had their vaccinations by time they try to re-enter Canada. Utterly pointless to protest Canada's vaccine policy. Added: They had a point when they started their protests, but they got finessed when the U.S. helped out Trudeau by putting the vaccine mandate in place for people inbound to the U.S. See DHS Announcement from 20 Jan 22.
What sort of American truckers have time and money to do this? 1000 out of 3.5 million truck drivers? .00028% of all American truck drivers? That's a trivial representation of truck drivers across the country, but it will negatively impact a lot of innocent people.
The argument is that mandates disrupt the economy and cost you money, but you can spend a couple of weeks skylarking around? The mask mandates are going away. How many truckers were affected by vaccine mandates? Not too many, one can guess.
This is the sort of crap we see from the Left. Let's block the streets in Portland, Comrade, because we can, and people will look at us.
I have no problem with strikes -- but they should be focused on the people that causes the gripe. I don't like strikes that seriously impact vulnerable people that have nothing to do with the issue that is behind the strike. Added: And I don't like the fact this strike convoy will pit the truckers against the police and the National Guard (who I think are good guys). I think the strike will hurt conservative causes in the eyes of most people and won't have any effect on the Leftist elites that run things.
This is so incredibly stupid. Our side has not demonstrated any appreciable violence or destruction. Unlike their side and antifa/blm. We've been nothing but peaceful and respectful.
And if they are so worried, seems like it'd be a lot easier to just leave rather than build up / fortify.
In any case, I hope this is putting the fear of god in them. Will this be the singularity when they step out of line, bite us with the fangs of tyranny and triggers the chaos that refreshes the tree of liberty?
It's not just the government. It's the people that voted for and support this administration. Need them to stand up and pay attention.
You talk of inconvenience. Yet we talk about freedom, liberty. Who are these people and their politicians to restrict our freedoms AND force a deadly shot upon us (for their profits, mind you, not any real social benefit)?
If I don't get a package from Amazon for an extra week or two or three. No fucking big deal to me. I support these convoys 100%.
