The key to enforcement is to punish the violator, not an inanimate object. The punishment of inanimate objects for the commission of a crime or carelessness is an affront to stupidity.

Would love to see premium under $5/gal in San Diego...

Regular unleaded ranges from $3.49 - $3.90. I have to burn super, so I try to use Kroger points whenever I can.

I paid $3.87 for Premium at BJ's yesterday PM. It was $3.67 less than two weeks ago!

Those BJ's prices are 14 miles from my home, so I need a reason to be in the area to pay that price and justify the trip, otherwise I'd burn a gallon of gas getting there and back! Gas prices in my town are a moving target so I check GasBuddy from my PC before I venture out. Currently Premium is $4.39 at the local Irving Stations, but one Mobil station is priced at $4.19 right now. Of course, gas station pricing isn't consistent though, and one of the Irving stations will be cheaper than the rest by a similar margin in a couple of days. Roll Eyes

I was paying $2.45 for Premium in November of 2020! Mad
