So yeah, that's great. It turns out that releasing all our emergency fuel from the Strategic Reserve didn't save Biden or your wallet. Instead, prices are expected to easily hit $5 by July 4 (but remember Joe saved you $0.16 that one time!).

I think we'll be well over $5 a gallon for regular by then, and maybe even $6, given how fast it jumped the first time and steadied, and how fast it's jumped again. $4.89 a gallon yesterday, we'll probably be over $5 by June 4th. Fuuuuuck.
The futures market doesn’t match what you’re typing:
  • July futures are $0.1266 less than today's close of RBOB
  • August futures are $0.2818 less than today's close of RBOB

If you believe what you’re typing go long on RBOB futures.

    DISCLOSURES:
  • My employer sells gasoline, and I'm still not in that portion of the business. However, I am still prohibited from buying or selling refined product, crude oil, or natural gas futures.
  • I'm still not an investment advisor.

  • This was back on page 30. Today I paid $5.04 a gallon. I guess I need to start investing.

Just saw someone on Zero Hedge warn that if we are already at $5 a gallon gas NOW, we are just one major supply shock or world event away from $10 a gallon gas.

I almost WANT gas to be $10 a gallon and store shelves bare as shit this November 8th Mad

Just got back from walking the dogs and prices at our local discount stations for regular are $6.35, of course the Cheveron and Shell stations are even higher and if you're closer to the freeway, higher still.

I'm going to RSO at our range tomorrow morning so I'll be passing a convenience store on the reservation where I'll fill up but if past prices compared to city prices are any indication, regular gas will likely be around $5.75

These prices are up $.30 since yesterday afternoon

I ran went ran up to Roxboro, NC to the bank and saw that most stations had 4.39 posted. One gas station had $4.59 on their sign.

Well, this morning I ran up to Chapel Hill to hit the gym and the Wegmans. All gas stations had $4.59 on display.

Anyone thinking the price of gas is going down anytime soon doesn't have his eyes open, and I don't give a shit what the "futures" say.

The price won't go down because this administration has no intention of letting it go back down.
