The BOR (Beads Of Rice) bracelet is shiny but IMO it is also timeless and one of the most comfy bracelets ever made. Doxa’s rubber straps look great too but to me the BOR bracelet on a Doxa Sub300 is damn near dive watch perfection.

I had my Searambler on a mesh bracelet for a while and even a NATO strap but kept returning to the BOR.

Personally, I'd go for the beads of rice bracelet on a Doxa if I every get one, but Erika's Originals has a great selection of straps that would pair great with one. Check them out!

I’m a big Tudor and Seiko fan but I think Sinn probably makes THE best watches on this planet.

Congrats Stick! Sinn watches are great and the U2 is one of my favorites of them. About the same presence as their U1, but greater depth rating and has a GMT complication too.

Very fair and reasonable! I found a chip on the crystal of a Hamilton that I owned and they wanted something like $1,000.00 for a watch I spent only $1400.00 on (new-old stock). They took a couple hundred off after I complained, but I was so burned out after the issue that I sold the watch not long after I got it back. That was very frustrating.

The build quality is actually quite good and it's got a decent Seiko automatic (NH35) movement.

I really enjoy the message it sends to people who IMO are lazy watch enthusiasts for the most part. I have not yet met a Rolex fanboy in the wild who wasn’t a clout chasing pretentious c$&t and didn’t know shit about watches. YMMV for sure but this is my experience thus far in life.

Stickman: I’ve got a couple Rolex watches myself, but I’m not drinking the brand’s Koolaide and besides liking a good laugh, I’m really impressed by the quality of the spoof’s product. I think you’ll be pleased with the “Hulk” version and it’s taking real effort on my part to resist getting one of their chronographs! Beautiful and funny as “F@*k”!!!

Question for you fellow watch guys.

I got a email from my local AD about a appointment tomorrow that I didn't schedule.

I'm curious why they made it and what for?

Was in a few weeks ago and was told my watch hasn't come in but hopefully soon. Now I've read that it could be just a another meet and greet to see if I'm still interested or that they are trying to sell me something else that's available.

At first I was kind of excited that the one of the watches I wanted was available. But I'm hesitant if they just trying to pawn off something I don't want on me and waste my precious time.

Guess I'll go in and see what's up.

Any advice on what to say or expect?
