Thanks Stickman. It's very comfortable and I did a thing a few hours ago! Smile

I made a friend at a local dealer during a watch enthusiasts' get together last week. I got sick on Thursday and was stuck at home over the weekend and checked out his store online on Sunday. There was a FXD MN22 for sale at a good price and I'd decided to get rid of a Marathon Jumbo that I bought a couple months ago as I found it too "jumbo" for my liking. He offered me a fair price for it in trade, which I accepted, but when I went to the store, the MN22 wasn't there. It'd been sold and they only had a MN21 (with more collector value and offered at an accordingly higher price), but they in effect doubled my trade in value for the Marathon and I paid what I would have paid for the MN22. I can't say I'm happy, but I can say I'm thrilled!!! I must have gotten some good karma somewhere/somehow!!! Big Grin

ETA: Already swapped out the velcro for a conventional NATO strap. The velcro felt okay, but I like the security of a conventional pin and buckle set up.

While I am not typically a fan of square/rectangle cased watches, that did turn out well, Bill.
With the right dial, it'll be great!

I'm in the blue FXD camp as well. Though it is on deck for sale now that I have the new 62MAS reissue.

You're selling your FXD MN??? I wish I'd known earlier! I'd have probably relieved you of the effort rather than buying one from someone outside the community. I wore my MN21 all day yesterday for the first time and I'm very happy with it. It's a great watch and the color combos available make the ease of swapping out straps just too desirable! Yours looks great here and I'll probably use a strap of the same look soon as I already have an appropriate one.

Black Bay Pro is probably my most worn watch. The P229 is one of my most loved pistols.

I love the Black Bay Pro and though it's thickness doesn't bother me one bit, I do wish it had a 44 or at least a 42mm dial. A 39mm just doesn't fit my large (8") wrist, but if it works for yours that's great! It's a beautiful design and in my eyes even beats the classic Rolex it so much resembles.

That is a sharp watch!!!

YESSIR! She is full Titanium and has a unique spring assist clasp that I am quite eager to get on my wrist. Sort of a micro adjust on the fly that automatically adjusts as your wrist size swells/shrinks throughout the day.

I was looking at them, they are a beautiful and functional timepiece!
Please post about the clasp, I checked that out too, it looks interesting, I'd like to know!

There's one of yours, in particular, I'd be interested in... let's talk about that sometime outside of this thread. Wink
Heck, I'd be even more happy to buy it if it helped you get that SBGJ! Cool

Now, if someone gave me a Monaco, I wouldn't turn it down, but for my $ it would be directed elsewhere.
A Moonwatch or Grand Seiko, likely.

Holy smokes, stick, that GMT is flippin' gorgeous! If I had bought the Shogun and then seen that GMT, I'd be peeved at myself for having jumped the gun. Price seems to be not too far from that of the titanium shogun (according to this site). Four-o'clock date window and no cyclops... I like it!

Unfortunately, I won't make the event today (it's a time/distance thing... they should do that on a Saturday instead!), but do please tell Ms. Enabler hello for me.

God bless America.

Geez Stick!!! You've definitely got "the bug"!!! Zenith has some great looking watches, but I truly believe that Seiko and especially Grand Seiko are at the top of the pack for dials. So many great ones to choose from! I just can't see buying anything else until sometime after the first of the new year, but..... Razz

In the mail today…

Got to figure out a plan for this one, it’s a bit brighter in person than it looked online!

Which diver did you buy, stickman, the 300-meter in your first pic?

I'm sorry I missed it -- I really wanted to experience that event and talk with the Seiko reps. Next year....

BTW, I'm figuring you earned some Good Son Points for buying your mom a new Tissot. Big Grin

God bless America.

I haven't posted anything in here for a while, because with 50+ watches, I'm done collecting. However, my dad just sent me the last 3 in his collection. Here are 2 of them [Waiting on a strap for the last one, it's a Doozie. I'll post it tomorrow, here's 2 clues: It takes a 24mm strap & has fixed lugs.].
