Stick, yeah I have to go 42 or bigger for my wrist. Anything smaller looks out of place. How is the lume on yours? Mine is like non existent even when charged by sun or bright flashlight. Only real negative I can say on this watch. Almost makes me think they forgot to put it on it's that weak. It looks nothing like the lume pic on the Gnomon site.

Here's a pic comparing size to my Planet Ocean. Lug to lug is the same so it looks closer in size compared to slightly larger GO SeaQ.

The lume is there it’s just for some reason stealth watches use crap lume. It’s the same for all Steinhart Phantoms both Gen 1 and Gen2 as well as their competitors. My VERY expensive Christopher Ward C60 Abyss SH21 and C60 Abyss GMT (two amazing Stealth watches) also use this terribly performing lume.

They would be smart to copy Ball and put tritium on their stealthy divers.

Glycine made the same mistake with this unique Combat Sub. That lume is the same as on the Phantom 1 & 2.



Steinhart currently has one stealthy watch with good lume but it isn’t a GMT and it has a Mother of Pearl dial. It’s tempted me for a long time.

The main problem is when you use decent (white or cream colored lume paint) you do lose that stealth look a bit.

My Spinnaker/Islander arrived. I like it, size is good. My only complaint is the date background is a weird light grey and hard to read. I will probably put the orange band on for my Spain/Portugal trip next month

Second pickup of the week just came in which is also a new brand to me. Lum-Tec B55. I picked up a rubber strap for it that I'll most Likely be switching it to.

Size seems to suit your wrist better than the Phantom.
Thought for sure it'd be a Helm based on the cryptic prior teaser post.

I already put the steel bracelet back on the orange watch, couldn't take the sparkliness

My second purchase came in today. I had a coupon to Jomashop on top of the sale.

I've been coveting an IWC Big Pilot forever and this Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pioneer fills the bill for 1/10th the price.

The specs says it's a 38mm, but it easily wears like my 40mm ExplorerII. Must be the long lugs.

The oversized diamond crown is super easy to grasp to wind and set.

The heavily textured tropical dial is super easy to read with the vintage cathedral hands.

The 60 click countdown bezel insert is sapphire instead of scratchable aluminum.

Hamilton knocked this one out of the park.

steelcityfishanddive, nice score on the B55. Lum Tec makes a hell of a watch. I bought a B47 Max Lum a couple years back that was a little bigger than I anticipated and I used the grey NATO on a different watch for a bit, but the head itself was tried on and then put back in the box. Sell it to you for a good price if you want it, just shoot me an email.

BigSwede, the first brand that comes to mind is Deep Blue. You like >42mm cases, and they do that well. Aragon makes some yellow dial divers in in the 44+mm range as well.

Marzy that is gorgeous!! You’ve got really good taste. I’ve been tempted by that model but my illogical obsession with screw down crowns has kept me from getting one.

To me it really has a nice Breitling Navtimer 8 vibe going at a fraction of the cost and with a few aesthetic alterations. Very cool.

If Hamilton made a diver/flieger version like yours with the same brilliant vintage vibe, screw down crown, and even as much as 100m WR I’d buy it today.
