Here is my Tag 2000 that my Wife gave me in 1998 for a Birthday present. It cost $618.00 delivered. It has been shared here before.

I still love that watch.

For our 31st wedding anniversary, my wife surprised me with a watch I have admired since 2002, but never thought it would be something I would own.

To me, this is simply amazingly beautiful. I am truly blessed.

Anyone have the vertical stripe Aqua Terra? I’m curious if it’s comfortable on the steel bracelet because it has an odd clasp bump.

Both look nice, but I think I'd give preference to the black model, moreso if the hour hand were in a contrasting color to the face.

Where is the price?

Shouldn't be more than $300 shipped.

it was right at 300 to my door, I guess my question is can I state it is a "real" Omega, I understand it has been "cleaned up " and the face possibly repainted, but I don't want to present my watch as original if it is not. I am a NEWBY to the watchgame, but it is as addictive as gun LOL

thanks, shawn

I'm starting small, with a couple Seikos.
A Moonwatch is near #1 on my list, but can't justify $7k for it, nor the requisite maintenance/service costs.

Can't specifically couch for it, but I'd be VERY surprised if they're knocking off Tags. Particularly a funky chrono(?) like that which would be difficult to pull off.

The bracelet alone indicates it's not fake.

That's still a lot of money for a beat up quartz--no?
