Pulled nearly 100 rounds of 45...

Had a squib in that lot a while back; my fear was that where there's a squib, the rest of the load may reside in another round and be a double charge. Better safe than sorry, so I pulled them.

Probably took you longer to line those up and make the pretty picture than it did to load them! Lots of fun in that picture!

Just inverted the trays. The trick was putting them back in and getting them reboxed. Lol. I still have yet to hook up the case feeder. That will change when I make a run of .40 or 9mm since the cases are more challenging to single feed with my fingers.

First go with the SnS coated bullets too. I'm sold. They kind of have an odd odor indoors but it beats the smoke from the lube. I was going to try some traditional Keith-style SWC with the additional crimp groove but I've had such good luck with these, I'm going to stick with them. The place is semi local too so its always nice to support your local peeps.

Yep. I hate loading 9's with my extra large hands.

That reason my friend is why I am still running the old 550's
Would love to have upgraded decades back but I have always run pickup brass.
There is also that damn small pocket apc brass.
This month I am running my years worth of forty.
Had a friend give me a few K of brass from a local police range.
I think one out of every hundred is so blown out of speck the sizing die shave part of the case.
You really have to follow thru with the ram,no backing off.
This slows things and you must pull from station.
So stretched the head will not let it travel in rotation and even if it did so it would not chamber.
It is all clok fired by primer marks.
Some of those cops got wore out out of spec guns.

I finished reloading 500 165gr 9mm Xtreme's after doing some testing. Love the way these feel and sound.

Spent $170 at the local reloading supply. Bought a pound of Benchmark for .223. Never used this one before. Also bought a new set of RCBS dies, 2,000 CCI SR primers and a Beretta shotgun range bag they had on clearance. The powder shelves seemed fully stocked. I'll probably start trying to buy an eight pounder of common powders and a couple k primers every month through the elections.

My new Wilson Case Gauge in .357 SIG came in today & I gave it a spin. Sweet. Seems that my eyeball was a little off. I recommend these gauges.

Just found out earlier today that my boss wants me to go shooting with him...not an option to say no. So I loaded 500 rounds of .223 blasting ammo with junk brass that I can leave instead of worrying about picking up to reload.

I really need to load a bucketful of junk .223 to keep on-hand.

Yesterday, I finished my DIY tumbler project and ran about 600 pcs of 38 spl. Sunday, I annealed and sized about 600 pcs of 5.56 Nato blanks that I've converted to 7.62x40. Tumbling those today.

Looks good jmtgsx. Would be interested in seeing what you used for the case tub.

Got my order from Powder Valley in... another keg of TAC, 4lbs of TrueBlue, 4lbs of VV340 and 2lbs of VV320. Also placed an order for some Xtreme bullets. I'm running out of shelf space!

I recently decided to try a new powder for 9mm, Rimshot Zip. Today I loaded up 100 rounds (3.4 and 3.6 gr) under 125 gr Hi-Tek bullets. Will need to see how they do at the range.
