Loaded and shot 200 rounds of 38 SPL / 158 grn Coated LSWC / 4 grn Win231 / CCI Primer.
My GP100 loves this load. I have not reloaded anything in a few months, it felt good to put these together and enjoy watching them make little holes in targets.

Fired my first ever rifle reloads today. Pretty happy for my first time, was not expecting anywhere near the results I got.

Loaded a little over 500 rounds of 40 cal match ammo today because I realized Friday I had about 150 rounds and Area 5 is only 2 weeks away.

My practice ammo doesn't quite make power factor.

Looking good!

I processed brass. What fun! Ugh!

This last weekend I loaded about 270 rounds (1 pound of Benchmark) of .223 in Win virgin brass. I load on a Hornady Lock-n-Load AP and all brass was hand primed before going onto the progressive press. It took FOREVER!!! I don't know if its because I've got skillet hands or what, but was having lots of trouble balancing that little Hornady 55 grn FMJBT on the case mouth as it guides up into the seater. Probably pulled and re-reloaded 80 cases. What a PITA! Obviously my first time with this caliber but seriously considering some kind of bullet feeder for the little pills.

I discovered that Wolf SRP are hard enough to load for my AR-15. No slam fires!!!

Now I am going to load every piece of 5.56 brass I have to get ready for Hillary. It will take some time.

I was comparing prices+shipping of my next order online between Graf's, PVI, Widener's and Midway. Graf's restricted me to only 5k primers - really ???

That took them out of the running right there. My online orders haven't been that small since I started.

Entropy - did you get around the restriction?

Huh?

Maybe this was something they just did or was a particular type? No such thing for me. Ordered CCIs. I know the order has been accepted because I screwed something up online and had to phone CS.

I was trying to order 4 5k boxes of Win SPP and the quantity would reset to 1.
Confused

Then I saw the following:

Quantity Limit: Only 5 WINWSP allowed per household.

My mistake when I assumed that applied to all their primers. Now all the CCI SPP are out of stock. Ugh! So the second choice is off the table.

It's been kinda quiet on my reloading bench lately. I did just get 500 Mk319 bullets to load up for my 13" SCAR17. I have some factory Mk319 ammo so I'm going to do some comparisons. I also got in the Lyman #49 reloading manual since I had heard so many good things about it.

My next step is to get my 9mm ammo stash built up. I was working on a load for suppressor use when I shot my Chrony Mad I stopped working on it after that, but I think I have enough data to just go with N340.

Stocked up on brass recently, 1k 223 and 2k 9mm, now am going trough the agonizing processing of the once fired 223 brass - clean, resize/deprime, swage, trim. It would be a lot faster if my order of "mostly" LC brass had actually been that...

Bench and range have been lonely lately due to studying for my board recertification... Frown

I was also thinking about a handgun bullet order. I think it needs to happen this week.
I also made my first 300 BO cases on my Dillon 650 tonight. The electric trimmer set up in nice.
I just need to get something to connect the vacuum to the shroud on the die. I do not really want to use tape. That is kind of hack to me.

Sunday was a good day. Loaded aprox 220 pcs. of .223. Went a little smoother this time and only had 7 pcs. to rework. Set up press for 7.62x40 and that went really well. Putting 150 grn. 308 bullets on top of the case is a whole lot easier! Ran the powder hopper dry after 325 cartridges. Time for a powder run.
