Brian Enos will help you out and save you money.

Make sure you get the strong mount and the roller handle.

He'll get to see the royal setup next month. Aluminum roller handle, strong mounts, case feeder on the 650, even the Whidden floating clamped toolheads on the 550.

Its more of a time issue. I just need to sit down and figure out what accessories I need. Ive been off almost 3 weeks, but havent sat still more than a day straight. Next trip out (tomorrow) I'll sort thru stuff while away and figure it out. Now, I can either take the time to figure it out...or I can go in the shop and crank SOMETHING out. When I get back next week, I need about 4-500 rounds of 9mm...I had about 100 on hand.

Ive stopped at the one in Appleton. The one in GFK seems to have a bit more stuff. Maybe its my imagination.

May sked comes out Friday. Keeping fingers crossed. Shouldnt be an issue though.

Never been to the one in Grand Forks.

The one in Eau Claire, WI has a pretty decent collection of Dillon stuff, seems more than Appleton, too.

Your schedule better not get all horked up, you're already down for a steak and a cigar! What ever would we do if we ended up with an extra steak and an extra cigar?! Oh, the humanity!

And yeah, if you don't have it sorted out by then, 10 minutes in my reloading room will get you squared away. I'll have you load 5 rounds of 10mm on the 550 and 5 rounds of 9mm on the 650.

Easy choice. Big Grin

I had started getting my Dillon RT1200 set up on my 550 to size some LC and Win 556 brass when I ordered my 650, so I stopped. I got the 650 in last Saturday, but have been too busy to get it completely set up. I have it mounted to my bench, tool stand, new roller handle, strong mount, and bullet tray installed. Now, I just need to finish up the case feeder. I'm going to process a few thousand cases first, then I'll decide if I'm going to load them on the 550 or the 650. I may start out with 9's on the 650.

I installed one of these on my main 550B's the other day:
extended steel plate
All of my priming issues instantly went away!

I also took delivery of a couple 8# jugs of H335, a couple big jugs of Titegroup, 10 pounds of CFE 223, and 12# of 748.

I ordered 32 pounds of Hodgdon H110 powder. When it comes I'll be able to do some reloading again. (H110 is the only powder I reload with.)

And finished up the 100 45s; 5.5 grains Unique, 230 Berry RN. Choice now is priming up more 45 or decapping a couple hundred 9mms.

Got my dies this week for my new (well, sorta new) 6.5 Creedmoor match rifle, and ordered a doohickey from Sinclair to measure headspace for sizing adjustment. Today I'm going to hit the LGSs in search of powder and primers. Then all I have to do is wait for the guy to finish installing the barrel for me. Frown

I'm FINALLY putting my Pro2000 Progressive Press put back together this weekend after a winter-long down time due to some broken parts. Got the parts several months ago, but just didn't get motivated. Shame on me...... Frown

Scored 2 lbs of Unique today at a place I didn't even know was carrying reloading supplies again.

Actually left the 8 - 1 lb bottles of TiteGroup they had on the shelf.

Worked up and tested some test rounds for 9mm. Ended up deciding that 5.4 gr of Unique under a 124 gr xtreme gave me the best results out of my 229.

The press is put back together...RCBS Pro2000 Progressive. I tried for the last two days to get the Tube Priming Conversion kit installed, but it just wouldn't align properly when tightening the screws on the primer block to the press frame. I very calmly and gently removed all components and parts of the kit from the press and they have found their way to the bottom drawer of my cabinet where they will remain.....FOREVER!!!

I will resort to strip priming, as was the original design of the press...more reliable and less moving parts to 'eff' up.

I started my .223 reloading project today. I got 3 cases into the resizing process with the RCBS AR Series Small Base Resizing Die (just getting the die set up) and bent the expander-decapping pin...as in the whole pin. Project is on hold until I get the replacement pins I just ordered from Midway USA... Frown
