Yep, that was horrible. Hard to follow and almost unwatchable. Even the resolution was unfulfilling.

The ending has promise, but they could have just skipped the whole season and started with that, since it has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the storyline.

You nailed it. Even if Boyd comes back, without the original writers, it will not be the same.

This thread has reaffirmed my initial thoughts that I wouldn't be missing much if I PASSED on this series.
