Well, there was some good music in the 70s, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac Bee Gees. But there also was a lot of crap especially in the early 70s. Like "Knock three times on the ceiling if you want me." Yuck!

And one from SIGforum's favorite action movie hero (especially in action Christmas movies); the fun begins about the 1:00 mark.

June Pointer adding some good vibes too.

Speaking of The Pointer Sisters and action movies:

not sure which tour, but they opened for REM, they were good, REM was much better (guessing late 80's)

The toughest part of these sorts of revisiting memory lane quests is the realization of those who have been lost along the way.

Walk-off hit, run scored, game over. RIP Tony Lewis and John Spinks.

Return of Bruno was, as a whole, a better album than many think.

We need a little more college rock

Also, with this crowd, you’ll probably get some interest in the Professor of Rock. Thumbnails can be click baitey (that’s the YouTube game these days) but the interviews are great.

Ahh, 1987. Ran my first project that year, an office building for a certain local airplane company that these days has trouble with doors blowing off of their jetliners. Such memories...
