OK - I give up. How do you embed a video on this forum? The best I can do is a link... You would probably only know this song if you were stationed in West Germany and drank at the Green Goose. This song was a favorite on their video jukebox. This is the girl from the Elton John Nikita video and also threw the sledge hammer in the Apple 1984 commercial. Yep, let's stick to the '80s. I will confess that a page or two back a post had one of the greatest hits of '79 but it still was on the air a lot in '80. I double check each of mine to make sure the original release date was during the '80s. | |||

Had forgotten about this one until a few minutes ago; Scotty mar10 has used it on a clip. Fitting tune for what occurred Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Might need to crank the volume up a little, sounds a touch weak. From '86-'87. | |||

^^^ I confess; I posted "Mickey" one page back. MTV and VH-1 back in their formative years made folks want to ditch that set of rabbit ears and get cable TV pronto! Fun fact: Toni Basil was a choreorapher/dancer for many years before the recording. She (and the recently departed Terri Garr) did several dancing scenes as bikini and pajama clad hot beach chicks in "Pajama Party" for instance (filmed in '64 or '65) I think. | |||
