I wonder how many team members brought a stray kitty cat home with them last weekend?

I got a chuckle at 'Paddock Cat' getting an official nametag on the SkyF1/Intl feed.

I'm a big dog fan but enough already about Lewis Hamilton's dog passing.
Hopefully there will be smoke puffs out of the Ferrari factory smokestack sometime soon to help him get over it.

TBH, I haven’t seen anything about the dog passing. I saw a few articles about the dog being sick and in a coma, but haven’t seen anything else on the F1 websites I visit. Even so, they’ve posted other F1 and Motorsport news during the same time.

Sorry to hear about Roscoe. I'd only seen 2 articles on it, both from F1 official. 1 when he was sick with pneumonia [I think], and his passing today.

Some C Horner news:
Apparently talked to Haas about coming onboard, but nothing beyond an initial talk.
Also rumors of bringing a 12th team to the grid

Also, Singapore declared a 'heat hazard' race, which requires adding all components for running cooling vests, even if the driver declines to use it, which requires adding 0.5kg ballast to offset the drivers that wear the vests.

Lots of cars that seemed to have competitive speed at times but this track has the reputation of being especially hard to pass on.
Maybe someone can find an alternative strategy to mix things up.
Before the weekend there was lots of talk about this being a rainy event but no sign of anything yet.

That was a slog. Even NASCAR put on a better show on the Charlotte Roval.

News coming out of the weekend is Ferrari had overheating brakes and Lewis caught a track limits penalty that dropped him one spot.

Now the rumors are Oscar Piastri is going to leave McLaren when his contract is up next year after McLaren's micromanagement. I applaud McLaren to try and keep things even, but too much more of this is going to lead the half the team hating the other like they didn't want in the first place.

I thought the leave-me-alone radio from Alonso would be the best of the day.

Nope, his rant about LH on final lap was vintage gold!

I agree on all counts but I expect to see the gloves come off Piastri (and probably Lando) since the constructors title has been secured.

It should be interesting racing between them and yes the race was boring.

Hopefully 'Papaya Rules' let them race hard against each other & they don't try to rein it in.

Or the pit crew playing favorites by intentionally sabotaging a pit stop to get their driver ahead because of their "mistake."

The same pit crew handles both cars and everything they do can be analyzed down to minute details.
They wouldn't be there long if there was a hint of intentionally slowing the stop.
Almost all the slow stops this year have been on Lando's car. The F1-TV folks mentioned that and had some replays. Each time it was a different corner of the car or a different position on the crew.
The wheel gun/socket itself seemed to the most common problem area but sometimes another guy getting the wheel onto or off was a problem.

I have no special insight but have noticed in the recent events, the second car to stop seems to be having the issues. Not sure if that's coincidence or something else.
