I want to see Valtteri get a podium in 26. I think a Caddy with a Ferrari power unit could be a decent car if the team has competent engineers.

I'm with the folks at Cadillac in that as long as they aren't last (or Alpine), it's good enough for Year 1. They've put up a lot of great YouTube videos including this one on their page:

Just waiting on their official merch to open so I can add to my VB stash

I have been an F1 fan since my teens. That was a long time ago. I also work for Cadillac indirectly and they will be who I am most interested in seeing this year. Like to George Russell do well with Merc.

“Our actions may be impeded...
But there can be no impeding our intentions or our dispositions. Because we can accommodate and adapt. The mind adapts and converts to its own purposes the obstacle to our acting.

The impeding to action advances action.

What stands in the way becomes the way.”

So now that Audi and Mercedes are on the same track, who are the real Silver Arrows? Wink

I think the answer to that is just, Yes. I believe they were both referred to as Silver Arrows in the pre-F1 era.

I'm ready to see real testing start, so we can get a better idea of what's really going on.

Agreed. Those teams have to be more nervous than a virginal bride, no matter how much simulation they've run.

I had an interesting encounter on Thursday between flights at CLT.

I was in a Priority Pass Lounge and was walking back from getting a bite and walked by a table with 3 guys sitting there….all wearing Cadillac F1 Team logo jackets..

I stoped in my tracks and asked them where they got those jackets as I have been looking for some. They looked at each other and one of them said that they work for GM and the merch wasn’t available yet…

Any further chat with them?
I've been patiently waiting for their stuff to drop.
