Just missing 2 from the BTAC now.

Cant find any info. When was BTAC first released. Ive sound stuff that goes back to 2001 but curious of the first years release of all 5 under the BTAC name.

Great haul. Enjoy it! Had them all except EC18 & ER17.

Had my first "two fingers" of Stagg Jr. last night - figured that might help my sore throat. WOW! 137 proof of bourbon goodness -- packs a punch of cinnamon and spice on the front end, filling the mouth with sweet smoke and going down like . . . well, you know. This baby needs time and respect.

Will need to drink my Blanton's for a while to get back to earth.

I had stagg jr the other night. Its ok. Not quite george t stagg. Heat but not complex. Im trying a lil experiment with stagg jr right now.

Supposedly willet 3 yr rye (non wax top) is out. The 2 yr was great. 3 ought to be good!

I'll look for the 3-yr Willett rye at work today. Is there an "age" designation on the label??? Supposedly, we just got the Willett Pot Still bourbon back in, too.

Gonna' re-try the Stagg Jr. tonite now that my sinuses have cleared. Hope it's better than the last time around!

Yes. In the label near the neck it will say the proof, printed not written, and then aged x years. You are also looking for non wax top. But printed not handwritten is a good indicator its real willet juice and not sourced from KBD. Also the foil wrapping versus wax.

In any case, I think it's worth $50-60-70/750ml all day long, in one sense because there are so few Barrel Strength Wheaters. It addressed one of the only two real problems with Makers: proof (the other being what they charge for the regular expression).

yeah that's for a 750. I'd love to find a 375 of it for a taster... I've got 5 bottles in the cabinet right now which is about where I like to be, but when I polish one off, I'll pick up a 750.

I've never seen a 750 of it, which I'd prefer. That's good news.

I'll see if I can find one via my usual sources.

I could grab a 375 sometime if you couldn't get one elsewhere.

They just started loading stores around here with 750s. I bought a 375ml to check the hype. Im not a makers fan but was given a 375 of the 46. it was growing on me. I imagine the cask strength will too. Love that strong bourbon.

We have lot of 750ml MMCS for $56.99 (NO TAX!). But, alas, no 3yr Willet Rye - yet.
