Well, it's what all Fremen children do. No room for prisoners. She was just fitting in... Big Grin

Reviving an old thread.

I just picked up the first trilogy of Dune books and got through just a bit of the first one last night. It's a tomb!

I'll see how far I make it. Not usually my thing, but I've always heard so much about it, I felt I needed to give it a shot.

Persevere and survive through the first 100 pages. The payoff it worth it. Also, the last 1/3rd of the novel is basically a Dune Encyclopedia. You don't have to read it if you don't want to.

I saw part 1 a while back. Part 2 is (last time I checked) still pay-per-view so I haven't seen it yet. Part 1 was good enough that I'd consider buying a copy of the whole set on BluRay, but my question is: Is part 2 the end of it, or are there more parts coming? If more are coming then I'd just as soon wait and buy it all at once.

Part 2 completes the original Dune story. Part 3 that's in production will cover the sequel Dune Messiah.
