The lowest I've seen is $599.99 online, and it quickly went out of stock. MSRP is $699.99, and the early adopters are bidding way above that on GunBroker. Why don't you share w/ everyone where CC9s are easily had for $540?

I’m in Greenwood, Indiana a suburb of Indianapolis and I put mine on layaway at $539.99 at Honey Creek Tackle in Bargarsville. They only got a couple in a the first sold yesterday. They had them marked at $599.99 but only charged me $539.99 and I must say the build quality of the HK CC9 and the finish of the slide/magazines etc seemed a lot higher quality than the P365’s I’ve owned. No doubt in a few months the street price for these will be even lower. "Clear Eyes. Full Hearts. Can't Lose."

Not just a little higher quality but a lot higher quality? I'm intrigued. Diligentia, Vis, Celeritas "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." -- George Orwell

In particular in regards to the magazines. I’ve owned 2 P365XL and 4 P365 over the last 5-6 years and I’ve found the magazine finish is different depending on where/who makes the magazine. Italy MecGar made magazines vs Checkmate vs SIG(?) making them and whether they get the shiny or dull finish. I’ve had a couple not run out of the box. They were quickly replaced by SIG. I’ve had a couple develop rust spots and then the finish start flaking after I cleaned them and wiped them down with a silicone cloth. Magazines that were wiped down regularly and never saw sweat. Also, the polymer on the grip module of the HK seemed much higher quality than the P365 and doesn’t seem to scratch easily like the SIG OEM grip module does. The machining of the slide and barrel was much more precise and well done on the HK. Overall fit and finish was a lot nicer IMHO. Not to say the SIG’s have been bad per se but the HK definitely had attention to detail when being manufactured and you can tell if you look at everything. Will that and the years of testing and evaluation result in a pistol with superior reliability and durability with minimal teething issues it remains to be seen but the odds seem in its favor. I initially wasn’t excited about the HK CC9 but seeing and handling it in person I’m really starting to warm up to it. "Clear Eyes. Full Hearts. Can't Lose."

I finally got to hold a CC9 the other day but didn't get to shot it. It seems well made. My only complaint is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of room between the trigger and the front of the trigger guard. I don't have huge hands, but it did feel like the trigger guard was in the way when trying to get my trigger finger on the trigger.

Damn I checked the Indy west side stores yesterday and didn't see any. Bargersville is a bit of a drive but I can go there on the way to the office...

I’m in Greenwood 5 minutes from Shoot Point Blank if you want to check mine out and shoot it. Let me know. "Clear Eyes. Full Hearts. Can't Lose."

LGS finally got one in a couple of days ago, and I jumped on it. Nice and compact. I’ll probably leave it as is, or at most change out the rear sight to a night sight. Doubt I’ll put a RDS on because I want to keep it compact.

I'll buy one absent some new information about some horrendous failure when they start becoming commonly available. I'm purty much a Glock/Shadow Systems guy, though I've tried all the little micros like the P365, P365XL and my latest and the closest to replacing the G43/G43x, the Hellcat. But, once again, I peddled my Hellcat and went back to the Glock and Shadow Systems. I think we all look for that perfect carry gun and seem to think the next one out might be better than what we've got. I know that's always how it's been with me. And my LGS guy appreciates it. I got to handle one today at my LGS. I really liked the ergonomics. From a size perspective, it handled like my Nano which is a great size to carry. The trigger was excellent along with the reset. I'm really thinking about buying one next year, once the price has come down. __________________________

HK finally got the rear night sights in stock $40 but I got one on sale on Black Friday for only $32. It’s scheduled to arrive tomorrow. "Clear Eyes. Full Hearts. Can't Lose."

Up to about 400 rounds thru mine. Mostly 115 and 124 fmj's and about 50 115 gold dot hollow points. Flawless and very fun to shoot. The last 150 were with my holosun EPS carry on it. I just went with the 2.0 green dot-no circle. Kept it simple. I swore off plastic a while ago but really like the way this one felt when my local shop got 2 in. The pistol is a homerun in my opinion. I have tried pretty much every carry 9mm out there, this one is the best. Its bigger than a g43, 365, and 938, but it shots like a full size and with the optic its real fast and accurate. I carried it in the pocket of my Carhart coat yesterday on a trip to Wal-Mart. With my wallet and phone in the other side pocket it carried great. I think HK really got this one right,There are smaller options out there but if that's not your only criteria You will not be disappointed

From those who have handled the HK CC9, how does the trigger compare with the Walther PDP with either of their trigger variants?

I've got a PPQ M2 and a VP9 and when I was dry firing the CC9, I thought the trigger was like a cross between the PPQ and a VP9. __________________________

So did you think it was better, or just different?

The CC9 trigger is decent, but I think the PDT in my PDP Pro SD is better. Also ordered the rear night sight from HK during their Black Friday sale. Arrived yesterday. Seems to be made by the same company that makes the tritium front sight (XS sights?).

I can’t speak to the CC9 specifically but the trigger looks very similar to the VP9s in the videos I have watched. The Walther PPQ/PDP triggers are noticeable better than the VP9s. This is not to say the VP triggers are poor, they are quite good, it’s just that the Walthers all pretty much have exceptional striker triggers. "Guns are tools. No, not like Bill Clinton |
On the page 1 comparison it says it's bigger than the 365. What changed?

Thanks guys for the info on the triggers compared to the Walther PDP, especially the DPT trigger as I have in my PDP Professional with ACRO. Of course there is a little bit of a size difference between the CC9 and the Walther. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Ogie,
