I like that engraving and the CPII Dusk. Does it hold up as well as the CPII? I might have to send Brad and Mary a couple of slides for that CPII Dusk. Thank you for posting.

I had the CPII Dusk done way back when CCR first announced it. It's held up great. It's usually carried in a leather holster. (ignore cat butt) Not minority enough!

Stopped by a shop yesterday and had a really long look at a G43X. I think for $400 and a little more for an optic and TLR-7, some Shield mags, I may finally go ahead and make the switch and retire the G19 altogether. I'm super late to the party with this micro 9mm stuff, but better late than never, I suppose. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

Try the PSA mags. Mine have been perfect through a couple hundred rounds and you can use OEM since the mag catch is stock. Sidebar, I can’t wait for G48 COA’s to become available. I think they are the gold standard combo at this point. My 19 COA is easily my favorite Glock now. This message has been edited. Last edited by: pedropcola,

Oh, good call. I forgot we went through all that with the PSA mags a few pages back. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

Well... that G43X I looked at, they had priced wrong. They wanted $500 for it when I went back. Bummer, it was the Lipsey's exclusive PVD tan slide on FDE frame version that's like a mini 19X. I dunno what happened there, should've just bought it when he showed it to me the first time. Went to a different shop today, and they had one of the legacy G48's with the two tone and no rail, a couple of 43X's. I think in the slimline 9's, the 43X is probably my choice. That said, they also have a used Gen 5 19 that looks brand new for $415. I've been carrying my Gen 4 19 basically all summer and have been liking the size, but I may very well go back to that shop and just standardize on the Gen 5. I still have a good stash of 19 mags, and can continue to expand my pile of G17 magazines. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

If you can blue label the non MOS version is $385. I might pick up another slimline non MOS before the end of the year because I think 2 a calendar year is the deal.

I'm not a first responder and I haven't joined GSSF, so no blue label for me. I'll probably get that figured out after the new year. I think I'm gonna go back tomorrow and snag that Gen 5 19. The timing isn't amazing, but I'm going to standardize on Gen 5's and just flush out the collection on the back end. I need to actually shoot a G48 and 43X before I make a decision on one of those. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

The 48 is nearly perfect. I am waiting on a G48COA. It will be the perfect Glock.

If you are a veteran, you can get blue label pricing through Glock dealers. Just checked the Glock website to ensure it's still being offered.

You also get one per year blue label coupon if you are a GSSF member plus you can shoot in GSSF matches which is a lot of fun. ----- Support the entire Constitution, not just the parts you like. Common sense isn't "right wing" unless you are too far to the left.

Glock Store 26X frame came in today. Fits great and feels good. Four of us just put 1200 rounds through it with no issues. Not minority enough!

Nice Chowser. I am waiting on mine. They have a nice grip angle and I can't get a good grip on my 26 to feel comfortable carrying it. I just wish the 26X frame had a longer beaver tail.

two more shooters have tried it here at work, six of us now and we all love it. It feels like a gen3 grip size so none of Glock's beavertail backstraps fit. I tried some from a 19. I ordered a Kiral Defense gen3 thing to try. If it doesn't fit, I have a gen3 somewhere. I will report back when I get it. I have always hated the 26/27/33 grip hump and never carried it for those reasons. I am trying to get a coworker to sell me back the 33. lol I just cleaned it and loaded it and will start carrying my FAT 43X as I call it. Not minority enough!

It is the G19’s back-strap shape that does not work as well, for me, especially my gimpier right hand, as the “heel” of the grip digs-into a most sensitive part of my right palm. (In the Eighties, during my immortal twenties, I pounded my right hand with .44 and .41 Magnum recoil, which seemed fun, at the time.) The full-duty-sized G17, and the “Baby” G26, plus the Short Frame G30, work really well. I sold/traded three Gen4 G19 pistols, in 2020, when the Panic-Demic resulted in getting good offers for them. I had not fired them since they had started vexing my right hand’s arthritis, in 2017. Then, in 2024, when I finally made the big transition to left-hand “primary,” I did see a niche use for having a G19, again, but bought a well-preserved, pre-owned Gen3, because that felt a bit better in my left hand than Gen4. The transition to left-hand-primary was not a matter of starting anew, from scratch. I had been shooting left-handed as well as right-handed all along, since I started handgunning in late 1982 or early 1983, at age 21. (I did not grow up among handguns.) I write left-handed, but throw right-handed. I chose to carry on my right side, in late 1983, while attending a police academy. Drawing the then-mandated hefty S&W L-Frame duty handgun, from the then-mandated low-slung duty holster, was much like throwing underhanded. So, I stayed with mostly right-hand primary carry. The hard part of transitioning was remembering where to reach for the weapon, after countless reps of reaching for my right hip. Have Colts, will travel
