I ask that we get real and be happy for what they have accomplished, and look forward to even more cool versions to come.

Agreed.

The Sigs I own are basic and I like them that way. My personal preference for a 10mm P220 is for a basic Sig without rail. But, I'm also aware that the caliber is most likely going to appeal to a limited market, at least initially. So my plan is to choose from what becomes available. I do hope they will announce what they plan on doing so I don't run out and buy a railed SAO when next month a non-railed DA/SA becomes available (as an example only).

So, in the meantime, I sit here waiting patiently with a pocket full of money.......

There's a picture of it on Bookface. They had one out at Shot Show Range Day. Looks good.

What, me worry?

Yes. That is the look I want! Some will not like the SAO.

No, just a standard factory SAO trigger.

You honestly believe that Sig did not come to the 10mm party a lil' late ?

btw, I'm NOT bitching. Just stating my opinion. I think 32 years after the fact is a lil' late to the party. Others can disagree.

I remember when Colt introduced the "Colt Delta Elite"

Back in the day (1987), that was the shit. An American company that designed a 1911 type pistol configured to shoot the ever powerful 10mm cartridge. Back then I was a teen with not much money so I was unable to purchase one.

So what is your point? That they’re too late and therefore should just stay home and watch reruns of old movies? Really, what do you believe they should do? Not pursue the project at all and thereby let the cartridge continue its long, slow slide into oblivion rather than attempting to satisfy an expressed desire by many people for a SIG that’s chambered for the round? If that’s your point, then why not just say it so it’s clear? Or, even better, not post at all in this thread about something you obviously have no interest in?

A day late? Sure. A dollar short? Absolutely not. I can't wait for the release of this pistol.
