Praying for the pain to subside and a speedy complete physical healing without any surgeries.

Ok so one funny thing. Those
of you that have seen the movie Tommy Boy might remember the scene at the hotel.

The housekeeper here just nailed the voice from the other side of the door to a T. I had a good chuckle over that as she announced “Housekeeping”

If it won't matter in 5 years don't give it more than 5 minutes.

It's a tough one to go through, my father had a couple bouts.

Keep us posted on your progress, and get well soon!

Good thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

I too suffered from diverticulitis for many years before I had to have my colon resectioned, took out about 18” of my colon. The surgeon waited for the infection to clear up, then he did the surgery, no need for a bag that way.

I'm praying for you Tara. I have been through the "emergency resection and colostomy", so IF you have to go that way, I can help you. I really hope you don't have to go that way and they can just resect the bowel without the colostomy.
