My understanding is one of the questions asked by the media of the young man is if he thought wearing the MAGA hat was the reason for the confrontation, she might as well have been asking a rape victim if she thought the mini skirt and tight top were the reason she was raped.

Although I'm sure the main reason the two groups sought out white youth with maga hats is exactly because of the skin color and hat, it makes the wearer a target.

But thats the end game, to dissuade any opposition from public support.

We have BHIs haranguing passers-by in Center City Philadelphia pretty much constantly in decent weather. Strangely, their zeal to convert and preach seems lessened when it's cold or hot.

It looks like the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar (the original film version) exploded on the sidewalk, complete with the wackiest possible interpretations of "historically accurate" Israelite-meets-gay-leather-bar costumes you can imagine. As a white devil cracker, simply laughing at them as I walk by with my coffee seems to inflame them more than anything else. That, and responding "Yeah... okay. Ala-kazam!" when they start shouting at me.

Like most pack-running cowards, they will do NOTHING unless they outnumber their prey by 5:1 or better, AND unless the prey shows signs of submission.

They're big on "360 degree security," usually posting a few of the more ridiculous-looking specimens facing outward behind their display, trying to stare down potential threats.

I couldn't give two shits about their theology or what they believe, or where or when they want to preach, but I bait them because they seem to especially target the tourist-looking families from middle America who are just trying to enjoy their vacations and see the sights. Note that they won't pull this in the actual 'hood or in South Philly because they know what'd happen there.

History will look back and say "why didn't they see this coming and stop it?"

It won't be like the last one with a dividing line, it will be messy and ugly. Police and National Guard will be caught in the middle in a vain attempt to keep the peace, probably hated by both sides.

Civil wars aren't fought with police and National Guard caught in the middle. What you are describing is a riot, mayhem, but not a civil war.

I think we are surely headed toward widespread violence, but I can't imagine the scenario for an outright civil war. Sides need to be separated and identifiable for a civil war to happen.

Maybe it's just the limitations of my imagination, but I don't see how a true civil war can happen in the US.

Covington Catholic Wants to Stop Kids from Defending Themselves in the Media

After smearing and then failing to apologize to the kids at Covington Catholic High School, the Diocese of Covington — which oversees the school — now reportedly wants to stop them defending themselves in the media.

According to a source at the school, the Bishop of Covington has told the school administration that he doesn’t want the kids doing any more interviews. The school faculty is also reportedly worried about the students’ safety.

The warning reportedly came after two Covington students appeared on Fox & Friends, where they defended their conduct in D.C. following the March for Life on Friday. Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy stated on-air that the kids, falsely accused of taunting Native American activist Nathan Phillips based on selectively clipped video footage, had been exonerated by longer videos of the incident.

The faculty did not specify to the students that they would be punished if they continued to defend themselves in the media, but the students reportedly wish to cooperate nonetheless.

The administration of Covington Catholic high school and the Diocese of Covington’s first response to the incident was to throw the students under the bus, issuing a statement condemning their own students.

Even after retractions and apologies from the mainstream media for spreading malicious slanders against the kids, the Bishop of Covington has refused to apologize for his initial condemnation of the students. In a statement yesterday, the Bishop even spoke of “corrective actions” against the students, despite their public vindication.

The Diocese of Covington has yet to return a request for comment from Breitbart News.
