The willingness of the DEMs and the media to keep stoking the fabricated fire makes it feel like something is going to blow sooner or later.

Cut Federal funding from Universities and or Cities that condone rioting that results in business damage and injury to innocent victims.

Use the cut monies to pay for damage and medical costs in addition to Police overtime expenses.

IMO, these non peaceful riots would soon stop.

I agree, but isn't this like the 98 pound weakling starting a fight with John Wick? I guess they're too stupid to realize they'd get their asses handed to them in about 45 minutes

You came to hear a speech, the peaceful demonstrators came to injure you and instill enough fear for the rest of your days so you won't go to another event ever. get your concealed carry permit, and visit the range regularly.

Here in the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia, I believe the government would back the anarchists. I mean, if someone at Berkeley last night had used a firearm to defend himself/herself, he/she would most definitely have been arrested and prosecuted to the full beyond the extent of the law.

I'm with you.

At the rate we are seeing a rise in:

  • Organized violence at anti-Trump "protests",
  • Calls for the assassination of President Trump,
  • Former fed.gov officials championing removal of President Trump from office by a military-led coup de etat,
  • Calls for using the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump (as if that would work),
  • Fake news, half truths, and plain-old-fashioned outright lies, and
  • General hysteria over the fact the U.S. elected the quintessential anti-politician to our highest political office

I feel "The world has taken a turn for the surreal."

So I am choosing to heed these sage bits of advice and advice.

I completely agree.
Unfortunately, under Obama, now the Federal government not only guarantees them but actually makes the loan.
They kicked private lenders completely out of student lending.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

And this is why these people CANNOT be ignored. I can ignore the snowflakes that post videos of themselves on youtube, crying and carrying on. I can laugh at them. This is different. People who call for assault, who call for arson, who call for riots, who call for the overthrow of the duly elected US government cannot be ignored. Somewhere out there is a modern day Weather Underground, waiting to begin bombing, maiming, and killing American citizens. And by ignoring these people and allowing them to inflame their followers one day they are going to start. If there was a local muslim cleric who stood out in front of his mosque every day and preached assault, arson, rioting, and the overthrow of government, don't you think they should be investigated? These people are no different. The last eight years of allowing lawlessness has only emboldened them. And they will only get worse.

It may be an empty headed actress who is doing the preaching, but somewhere out there someone is listening.

A question for the cops:

How do you attack a riot?

Back in the 60s and 70s, it was dogs, firehoses, and billy clubs. I even remember an action at a relatively obscure college in Ohio that seemed pretty effective.

What is the plan nowadays. How does one break up a large riot like this? Or, do you just arrest targets of opportunity and wait for it to fizzle out?

It depends on where it's happening. If it's in California, the police are instructed to just watch, let it burn, and arrest anyone who defends themselves effectively.

I think security guards refer to it as, "Observe and report."

The whole of the last century is riddled by Red Cell/Red Faction type "student movements", none of which ended well for the nations that tolerated (or used outright) those movements to advance a socialist agenda.

This is the work of "Antifa". A supposed anti-fascist movement that created widespread chaos (promoting actual fascism) throughout western Europe in the late nineties and early 2000's. The countries most affected by this movement are today the countries most affected by unchecked Muslim immigration.

Hmmm...imagine that.

This is going to continue in liberal strongholds and will continue to get worse. Mostly because those same strongholds are densely populated by useful idiots who are easily manipulated. It might get tried in Red State America but will likely get shut down fairly quickly.

And the divide will widen.
