Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick that woman was insane!

I like how the one student behind her awkwardly let out a "Woooo!" during her meltdown.

The problem is that the professor may be correct - even of herself.

For too long higher education has drifted left. As in my previous post, higher education has failed so many of our citizens.

Having taught college-level politics and history for over twenty years, I saw the growth of ignorance in my incoming students.

I literally had people gasp when they first read the Constitution along with supporting original documents upon learning that they had never heard or seen much of it before.

The problem with your professor's quote, sdy, is that the poor lass probably believes it.

The reason students feel like life has been invalidated is because they were taught that leftism, not pluralistic participation was what should have formed the base of their political lives.

To say that we "went all in on a hand that just lost" leaves hopelessness in those who only see a possible future for their lives in progressive causes, believing that they were holding the only hand available.

The United states is about the broader cause of freedom, the equal right to participation and tolerance for other views. The ability to hold one's nose and get em' next time at the ballot box is part of the hand that they should have been holding.

One of the meaningful things I have experienced is having students tell me they switched their majors to history or politics because of what they learned in my courses, becoming teachers themselves in our area. There needs to be more education of our young people in my view - and growth in those who teach.

I was shocked once by a professor who confessed to me that she could not see how religion played any role with our founders or our government. She showed a stunning ignorance but I thought she must have been to all leftist schools, "elective-choicing" her way to a degree that missed some of the core facts about the origins of our country.

Indeed, mental illness is rampant in academia and in the left in general. A foundation in reality is impossible for these types.

But we've passed beyond that point too given our 'participation trophy' mentality and upbringing. When everyone's a winner and no one loses, perception and behavior are altered substantially. People like the dear prof can't wrap her head around the reality that not only did she and her cabal lose this past November (and every day since), but they lost 'Yuuuge', and the changes that will come with that win by the enemy will impact every aspect of her life in what she perceives as a very negative manner.

America has to finally awaken from the stupor its been in for many years, and IMO, people like the prof are never going to be able to make that transition.

That professor needs some Xanax.

If I behaved that way on behalf of my employer, I'd imagine I'd be unemployed.

The irony is lost on her. She wants gov't to shut down free speech.

Has she been identified yet?

Is it "getting laid" if it is between lifeforms of the same "gender identity"?

I guess that seeing some of our kids want to embrace ISIS as opposed to their own country, with all that we offer and have offered, makes me want to fix what's wrong with education. Our future generations deserve a better hand than what the left offers them.

Take the five minutes to watch Milo eviscerate Hillary Clinton. This was, of course, before the election.

On that we can completely agree. Unfortunately, we'll have to burn down most of academia and rebuild it from scratch before we can even get to the beginning of that evolution.

I have great respect for Milo, and new respect for Ann Coulter, because they have demonstrated that they go beyond entertainment, beyond personal career, and have a real commitment to the struggle in America and worldwide against leftist totalitarianism. They have both put their lives on the line, Milo especially.

Milo will not be attending the WH press meeting according to his latest post on FB.

From his page: "I won't be headed to the White House today as some news reports are suggesting -- en route to New York for cable news. Had fun at the press briefing last time but I'm the biggest story in the country and I'm focusing on TV! I'll drop Sean and Daddy a line about Berkeley privately."

I loved the part there when Milo questioned who Chelsea's dad was! That video was comedy gold!
