Yes really. Roll your eyes all you want, the kid comes across as a smarmy punk who caused his own issues. Instead of fading away into obscurity he is choosing the opposite path; his actions (before and after the trial) have done more to harm the future of gun ownership and the 2nd Amendment than help it.
That's one opinion, but it isn't mine.

He strikes me as a overly cocky young kid with a chip on his shoulder. While he earned that chip, he needs to knock it off of his shoulder and just get on with his life...while suing the living shit out of those who defamed him. Take your money and live the Nick Sandman life. I haven't heard a peep out of him since he was standing on the Lincoln Memorial and that's the way one should behave.

It’s way more than one opinion. Not everyone faints over this kid like some do.

Not fainting over anyone, short of Elizabeth Hurley. Just don't hold the belief that this kid has single handedly destroyed the 2A and gun rights and needs to live in a hole the rest of his life.

That's a fantastic way to make sure it never gets taken down, and in fact will just spawn even more. You either completely ignore it, or embrace it.

That's uncalled for. Entirely undeserved. Factually incorrect.

Yeah, Rittenhouse is not another George Zimmerman, even though some want to think that.

And zero situational awareness? Roll Eyes
The kid beat a street full of criminals and lived to tell about it, as a free man.

Not true. After the incident, Sandmann made the rounds of network morning shows, numerous appearances on Fox News, and was a featured speaker at the 2020 Republican National Convention. Also made TV appearances on behalf of his new friend, Kyle Rittenhouse, before and after the verdict.

On a different note; video of Rittenhouse's firearm being shredded, per his request.

That's alright. With the legal suits he has planned/pending he'll have plenty of money to buy several more.

Isn't it all just theater?
Why, yes. Yes it is. Kabuki, to be precise…

I've posted about Kyle a few times on this thread and his situation.

I don't think anyone here thinks Kyle destroyed anything outside of a few assholes in Wisconsin.

Kyle has one of two choices.
Mind you, he has civil litigation pending against him, and a bunch of people that just don't like him. Some of whom wouldn't mind seeing the kid dead.

Anything... ANYTHING that kid says or does WILL BE HELD AGAINST HIM. Spits on the sidewalk, farts in public, and The Left wants him drawn and quartered. Anything this kid does is already being twisted by The Left and used to turn Kyle into the next Pol-Pot, Stalin and Hitler combined. Don't think the MSM didn't learn lessons from Zimmerman.

How old is Kyle right now? 20? 21?
How smart were you at his age? Here's an even better question: How smart were you at 20/21 living under a microscope?
Me, at that age, yeah, I was a Corporal / Sgt in the Marines doing some pretty important stuff... But I was still about as fucked up as a soup-sandwich. No way on this green earth could I have dealt with that much scrutiny.

Back to his choices:
Attack-
Kind of hard with the MSM working against him. Not only that, it's an expensive battle. He's not rich... Well, not yet.

Disappear-
Vanish, fall off the face of the earth... NO social media. Don't trust any of your "friends". Grow a beard, hit Bora-Bora, Moracco, Fiji, the Jungles of the Amazon, Pigs Knuckle, Arkansas... Wherever... Just somewhere way off the radar.
"Hey, you look familiar"
"Yeah, I get that a lot, my name is Raul" but say it with an accent.

Come back in a few years when 90% of the people forget about you, and have someone else to focus on.

Kyle has done great, especially with all the pressure on him. He has beat everything those evil, phony liberal, leftists could throw at him so far. As long as he does not do anything stupid, most likely he will grow stronger and smarter, while the leftists will continue look like fools.

Some people have destiny thrown at them. May as well run with it and do the best he can.

Ehhh, there's a certain frog that Rittenhouse just doesn't need to be tied to at the moment. I buy CPD SIG's argument, FWTW, but that's not only pushing it but marrying his future to someone else's behavior. Kid needs to be able to say that he called, is calling and will be calling his own shots.

Leave the kid alone, he’s dealt with more at 18-21 years than most of the critics here have at 30+ and going on. The stuff he’s been through has broken, supposedly older and wiser men. God Bless kid.

He doesn't have to worry about the Left beating him up for every little thing he does. Some of you guys are doing just fine without any help from the Left at all.
