I have seen a few here in Missouri, St. Louis market.

The house phone is ringing off the hook as well with pollsters calling. When I'm around to answer, I'm still telling them to count me in for Hillary.

Someone in the extended neighborhood (mountains) put up several anti Hillary signs along some of the County Roads (Hillary For Prison, Crooked Lying Hillary, etc). I wish I knew who did it so I could buy them a drink and laugh about it. Some were up high on trees and poles, too. It took real effort. I was both surprised and impressed. Smile

Trump is not running ads here in South Central PA-- or, running very few-- because, presumably, he knows he has the votes here. But Hillary is running a TON of ads here, especially-- over and over-- the ad featuring little girls looking in the mirror with cut aways to Trump calling some woman "fat" "she eats like a pig."

I'm not sure if it's enough to end his chances of winning the White House but damn.....the fat comment was so very stupid. Trump has a tough time with maturity when he's challenged. We have to survive it for 33 more days.....

I've seen that Hillary ad a few times here in Naples (which is Trump territory for sure). Funny how her idiot VP won't self identify as a man (her "right hand person"), but the hag's entire campaign is based almost solely on the woman card.

Here in Florida, we are getting both parties political adds just about every commercial break. The Trump adds are great, focusing on his vision of the future; as well as, highlighting the Hag's deeds and the poor state of the country under the Dims.

The Hag's attack adds are focusing on Trumps temperament and word parsing. The top four running commercials are: girls in the mirror/"she eats like a pig", Crippled boy/ "I can't remember", wounded warriors/"I've sacrificed", and the minute man nuclear silos, "I love war".

Since Trump is not running to be guidance counselor and chief, the Hag's adds appear superficial in the grand scheme of things. The people want jobs for their graduating children, far more then they want a free college education that will be as "worthless as wet score cards". Paychecks trump welfare checks silly Hag.

Naples FL here too- and I am absolutely disgusted by the mailers arriving in the mail from the Democrats. They are all aimed at my wife really- she calls them the woman card. She knows the weak minded will lap it up though.

I have seen a few Trump ads but not too many.

Despite Obama winning PA in 2012, York country overwhelmingly voted for Romney.

Just about. I don't think I'm going to even flip to CNN anymore...I knew better, I thought...we'll let me just surf through and see what's going on...*click* and they had some female absolutely raving DT was a racist in two languages last night. Why is this person getting ANY air time?? No more for me.

All the while, hearings are going on, that show in no uncertain terms the level of her misconduct and a blatant cover-up...and its barely a blip...you have to go search for it...

In stead we have listen to a constant barrage about 20 year old tax returns and people spew their hostility.

I hope that DT is really prepping well and comes off sharp in the next debate.

I see story after story in the lame stream media stating that Clinton is leading Trump by 6 points or so in the polls. But the LA Times (hardly a conservative paper) poll has had Trump ahead for quite awhile:

Does anyone have historical accuracy data for these polls? Of course, it's the electoral college that determines the winner.

Polls are historically biased to favor the results that those who pay for the poll want to see. However, every presidential election year, the polls will start using unmanipulated data and report something far more realistic in the 2 weeks before the election.

2012 was a great example. In September/ Early October, virtually all media-sourced polls showed Obama up anywhere from 4 to 9 points. However, those same polls, needing to maintain credibility for the future, all began to remove their bias weighting and reported "real" results from about October 25th forward. All of the polls that had Obama up 4-9 suddenly showed a race that was within 0-3 points. Of all of them, PEW and the ABC/Wash Post poll had it the closest to what actually happened (Obama won the popular vote by about 3.9. Or so we were told....)

The L.A. Times poll (which is actually a USC poll), is a little different from most, in that it polls a much larger sample and they sample every day. It's also void of weighting and other manipulators that are used by most "polls." Their methodology results in the most statistically significant information currently available. Their breakdown on the "Characteristics" page is very useful.

We are starting to get regular daily Trump and Hildabeast ads. I have to say that Trump's are pretty darn good......I can't stand to watch the other ones. I feel that Az. will go for Trump, but Phoenix is getting more liberal/left daily.

There is a reality in presidential politics regarding polls . . . .

In 10 of the 15 presidential elections from 1944- 2000, the candidate who was leading in the polls on Labor Day saw his margin shrink by the time of the final poll. (This includes Thomas Dewey, who managed to lose to Harry Truman in 1948 despite never trailing in the polls.) If you average together all 15 of those contests, the Labor Day spread was cut in half by Election Day—although the early leader won the popular vote in every case except Dewey-Truman. In other words, while last-minute poll tightening is far from death and taxes, it is a real phenomenon. Link

Now, some may not like Slate magazine but that description seems accurate to me. There are also people who just lie and pollsters who do not want to be found out of step with results.

The polls will be tight before election day.

Why ride those broncs except for the fun of jarring your own teeth loose?
