My bet is old Julian was offered a deal. Agree not to release any thing against Hillary and that whole Scandanavia rape allegation goes away.
We will find out soon enough.
He's been holed up in that embassy so long he's probably going stir crazy.

Let's see if he walks out of there in a few weeks.
The Clinton's have all their bases covered. All of them.

The Clintons may well have gotten control of Assange. Why not? They control just about everybody else. Comey. Lynch. The State Department. The IRS. The Black Caucus. And on and on.

Before Bill and Hillary Clinton, no criminal ever thought to become a powerful part of-- and control-- the legal-governmental structures that bring criminals down. It's brilliant, really. You become the agencies that potentially could bring you down.

Immunity is the flavor of month so he probably got that to protect him from any espionage charges the US would bring.

I bet he awfully quiet the next few months.

Amish People Endorse Donald Trump for President

Thousands of voters lined up in the rain to see Donald Trump in Manheim, Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Including Amish voters…

I will take one Amish person over 1,000 liberal college zombies. They actually know how to work and they are willing to sacrifice.

Toss this out to any "Never Trump" supporter you encounter: LINK.

quote:
Finally, A Viable Third Choice in this Election

I have been and remain convinced that neither party’s candidate is fit to hold public office or any other position of authority, for that matter. That has not changed.

I have honestly tried to convince myself that I should hold my nose, once again, and vote for Donald Trump just because he is the Republican nominee, or just because he isn’t Hillary Clinton, or for any of the other reasons given to me by his supporters, but I simply cannot do that.

Nothing anyone has been able to say to me changes the fact that I believe Donald Trump is an unprincipled, lying dirtbag that should never be put in a position of trust of any kind, most especially not that of President of the United States. As bad as she is, not even Hillary Clinton can change who Donald Trump is.

Then there’s the “lesser of two evils” theory. I’m sorry, but that’s like looking at a glass of arsenic and a glass of cyanide and debating over which one pairs well with fish. There is no “lesser”, one is just as bad as the other.

I wanted a third option but, sadly, none of the minor parties had anyone to offer that I could vote for either. Then, Ted Cruz stepped up and offered me something I could get behind.

Before anyone gets excited no, I’m not making any major announcement for Cruz about a late third-party run, although I wish I was. Sen. Cruz’s announcement that he was going to break down and vote for Trump despite all of his misgivings was not even enough to change my mind, but there was a little nugget of information contained in that announcement that provided me with my third option.

Cruz has been blasted by many, including some of his strongest supporters, for “abandoning his principles” with his decision, but I saw it differently. Cruz was doing exactly what he said the rest of us should do, voting his conscience. For quite some time afterwards, I tried once again to convince myself it would be okay to go along with Cruz, but I just could not go there with him.

One of the most compelling arguments put forth by Trump supporters has been the Supreme Court appointments. “Do you really want Hillary Clinton to appoint the next Supreme Court Justice?” they would ask, and my response would be “How do you know Trump’s would be any better, because he said so?” What Trump says he will do seems to change over time, a short time. I couldn’t trust Trump with the Supreme Court any more than I could Hillary.

I believe Cruz was in the same situation, but he was actually in a position to do something about it, and he did. This is yet another demonstration of the kind of leader Cruz is, and why he would be such a good choice for President.

Because Cruz had held out and not endorsed Trump, and because the race is so close, Trump was forced to reach out to Cruz. In announcing his support for Trump, Cruz indicated that, although Trump had given examples of the kind of judges he would appoint, that wasn’t enough to convince him. He then gave Trump a list of acceptable nominees, and Trump agreed to choose judges only from that list. Effectively, Trump is allowing Cruz to choose the Supreme Court nominees for the next four years if he wins. This, I believe, is what finally convinced Cruz to come out in support of Trump.

Finally, I have my third choice. I have never considered voting for the Witch of Benghazi, nor can I stomach the thought of voting for Trump, who is and remains, in my estimation, the biggest dirt bag to ever receive the Republican nomination. There will be no good outcome from this election, and I cannot vote for either one of the candidates. What I can vote for, however, is to give Ted Cruz the power to choose our Supreme Court justices for the next four years. If that means voting for the Republican dirtbag, then I will do what I must.

I know, Trump is perfectly capable of going back on his word, but at some point, we have to at least try to pull something out of the fires of this election. Cruz has found a way for all of us to at least get something of value out of all of this, and it would be a terrible waste if we did not accept it.

Thank you, Sen. Cruz, it will be you I am voting for when I check the box beside Donald Trump’s name.

4 OCTOBER, 2016
JAMES P WILLIS
2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, TED CRUZ

Thanks,

Sap

Oh, my, yes, let's do engage in mental masturbation because our "principles" are in direct conflict with that pesky thing called "reality".

Oh, Senator Cruz, when I pull the lever for Trump, I'm really voting for you.

What a bunch of horse shit. You just tell yourself whatever lies you need to, to keep Hillary Clinton out of the White House. Roll Eyes

What amazing fabrication! The ONLY reason Cruz finally endorsed Trump is that the polls started to show that Trump might actually win the election and Cruz couldn't afford to be caught on the wrong side of history when it comes time for him to run for re-election.

Trump reached out to Cruz? Trump agreed to only select SCOTUS nominees from a list provided by Cruz? Absolute horse shit. Trump didn't even acknowledge Cruz when the loser came crawling on his knees to get back in line to save his own sorry ass.

We'll take any vote we can get but damn.....the manure is getting deep.

I heard Trump begged. He was on his knees, with tears in his eyes begging. Thankfully Cruz is a bigger man than Trump, and instead of ignoring Trump's pleas, provided him a list of acceptable nominees and told him to make it happen.

One effect that I truly believe the Cruz endorsement will have is making it a lot easier for many of these Utahans to pull the lever for Trump. I live in a relatively liberal area in Utah, so there was never going to be a great deal of visible support here for Trump to begin with, but the rest of the State--if not openly supporting Trump--I have no doubt will still mostly vote for him on election day.

Utah voters will lie about their presidential pick to avoid conflict

Salt Lake City —
(KUTV) While Donald Trump makes headlines nationally, there's a lot of talk in in Utah about how the election could swing to the left.

For the first time in a very long time, pundits have been calling Utah a swing state in the election between Trump and Hillary Clinton.

While Utah, as a swing state, is good election year fodder, it may be a bit of a stretch.

Early on it looked like Utah could indeed be a tossup, but the closer and closer we get to election day, the more Utah looks like Utah. Clearly Republican, the only differentiation in how large the win will be for the Republican nominee.

“If you are a Donald Trump supporter you really don't go around telling people that you are,” said Jason Perry, Director of the Hinckley Institute of Politics. He has been watching this election closely. In the Institutes latest poll conducted, in conjunction with the Salt Lake Tribune, Utah voters were clearly leaning to the right.

The late September -Salt Lake Tribune-Hinckley Institute poll asked likely GOP voters: “if their leaders should support their party's nominee?”

Sixty percent say yes while 57 percent of Republicans in a Dan Jones & Associates survey said they planned to vote for Trump.

The numbers predict a solid win for Trump, though you wouldn’t know it from talking to people. Public declarations are tough to come by for either candidate with favorability ratings at 70-year lows. Driving around Utah, there are few bumper stickers for or yard signs for either candidate.

“There’s not a lot of people saying this is my vote.” Perry says “that's why, when they get into the privacy of the voting booth and no one is watching,” we will see the truth. “They are not talking to anyone else” about how they’ll vote, but “they probably start to fall on party lines.”

With so many Utah voters trying to avoid talking about their candidate of choice, 2News gave them a chance to remain anonymous and say the name of their candidate out loud.

The question was simple. Who are you voting for? Even while covered by a giant poster board, likely voters had a tough time finding their voice.

One man hidden from the camera, said he would vote for Donald Trump, but would never admit as much at work. One occasion, he said, the issue was forced and he was forced to lie saying, “I would abstain.” This voter admits he would never abstain from voting saying it is “important we all vote.”

In our informal poll, one group was more likely to be loud and proud. Clinton supporters were more likely to willingly admit who they were voting for without the shroud of privacy.

One young voter said he’d vote for Clinton but worried his grandparents would hear.

“I try to keep it on the down low.”

Political races, along with finances and religion, have never made for great dinner time conversation, but this year it is especially true.

Perry of Utah’s Hinckley Institute believes Utah will ultimately lean right.

“In the end I think Donald Trump probably wins in the state of Utah, not by the margins we have seen over the last years.”

Four years ago, Romney pulled in more than 70 percent of the vote. Four years prior, McCain had more than 60 percent support in Utah. Where Trump falls is still anyone's guess.

One Utah voter, who was ready and willing to talk Trump on camera, said he had no qualms and encourages his neighbors “pick one, (candidate) figure out why, and stand up for it.”

We've posted a poll online if you'd like to secretly tell us which way you are leaning at wedgies.com.

Voting starts with mail-in ballots in two weeks. The election is Tuesday Nov. 8, 35 days and counting.

To me, it all comes down to this one question: if you are pleased with the way this country has been led for the past 28 years and the direction it is currently going, then vote for Hillary; if not, vote for Trump.
