I've been increasingly disappointed with their actions and statements as this election unfolds. I'm now disgusted. The uniparty, plain as day for all to see.

Actually, they ARE the real Republicans. If you look at it historically, it's the hard core conservatives who really don't belong in the Republican party. Starting with Goldwater, and really cemented by Reagan. The conservatives (especially from the south) and the establishment Republicans formed a coalition.

This elections cycle may mark the dissolution of that coalition (with the conservative core of voters pushing Trump to the nomination over the objections of the Republican establishment.) However, neither one can do that much without the other. If Trump loses, which is looking increasingly likely, look for this divorce to put the Democrats in control for a good long time.

I've said that for 24 years. Neither Bush 41 or 43 were really Republicans. They were RINO's who were, first and foremost, opportunists.

We haven't had a true Republican in the White House for 28 years. Young people, those under age 45, have no clue what a Republican is supposed to be. The only examples they've seen as leaders were de facto Democrats masquerading as Republicans. It's no wonder our party is dying.

Can't agree with your reasoning. It's been some time since the nominees the media have allowed to run as Republicans have been reflective of the party's base but that doesn't make the nominees a true example of the core party's beliefs/values.

IF Trump loses, the Democrats will control our world without interruption for at least the next 20 years. The WH is a prize but it's not the biggest up for grabs this time. Whoever wins will set the tone for the SCOTUS for decades. Fortunately, it's not looking more likely that Trump will lose. Just the opposite. If the election were today, I believe Trump would win the EC with 283 votes. It may be much higher. This has been Trump's election to lose for a long time now. I don't think he can screw it up badly enough at this point to lose.

You're not looking back far enough. What we think of now as a "real" Republican isn't what would be considered the same thing back before 1980. Before then, there were a lot of Republicans like Nelson Rockefeller (liberalish NY governor.) And most conservative southerners voted Democrat (ever hear the term "Dixiecrats" or "Bole Weavels".) Something about never forgiving the Republics for the Civil War and Reconstruction. The current political configuration of Liberal = Democrat and Conservative = Republican is a fairly recent phenomenon.

Oh, he CAN very much screw it up. And, after the last debate, it looks like he may well succeed in doing so. Clinton is weak. He SHOULD be able to beat her. But, lets be honest, he has no clue what he's doing. That was the reason that a lot of primary voters voted for him (they wanted a non-politician.) But the problem is with non-politicians is, they don't know how to campaign.

I've been meaning to post this issue in the "What's your deal" section.

That is, when members reply to another member and post their replies ahead of the subject in which they're replying too. I'll read their post and not have a clue what they're referring to until I look all the way to the bottom and see the quoted post and realize it's actually a reply. Drives me nuts.

It did make following the conversation a bit difficult but....I've had a little experience at deciphering "spaghetti code."

If anyone needs yet more proof that Trump is going to be just fine, I see today that Algore is joining the campaign trail for Hitlery. If THAT doesn't spell victory for Trump, what will?

Trump has 2 rallies scheduled today in Nevada. The first, in Henderson (Las Vegas), is scheduled to start at about 2:30 pm EST.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEjUkpbH7ak

Wow! I hope you saw this one. Crowd estimated at 15K at noon on a weekday! RSBN said a good 25% of the crowd appeared to be Hispanic/Latino. Hillary had about 200 at her event yesterday. We're winning.

I'll be voting for him. I have a very strong suspicion my state (NY) will not.

Before the debate, he looked like he had some momentum, and had essentially pulled even with the Hildabeast. Afterward, it seems to have flipped. Hopefully he can turn it around.

I'd concur, DT has lost some momentum, but he's far from out of the fight. But the momentum loss has come under an absolute virtual non-stop anti-DT media blitz that have put him into a defensive posture for too long. Sheesh, 20 year old tax returns? That's what is 'Top News?' Jeez, get real, but is all we're hearing about, and something about some pageant model from years ago. How about come current coverage.

I didn't watch the VP debate, and only caught a few moments of the MSM post coverage. It got nauseating in about 30 seconds. Pence was CLEARLY the better candidate on stage, but about the 3rd time some MSM spent 5 seconds acknowledging it followed by 'But Kaine did great, Kaine did great!' I flipped it off.

The power mad and greedy who are willing, supported, and allowed to cheat to win are a large part of the problem(s) we face today.

I really hope that DT get's himself really well primed for the next debate and really regains some ground. They're entering the home stretch...this is the time for him to show his mettle.

Sunday evening, Sep. 18, I wrote a sizable check for the Trump campaign, and put it into the mailbox. It's now Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2-1/2 weeks later, and that check has yet to clear my bank. Nor has the letter been returned. I guess Trump doesn't like paper checks. I'll put a "stop" on it tomorrow. I wrote the check and addressed the envelope per the following:

To contribute by mail, please send a personal check made payable to the “Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.“ to:

Has anyone here seen a Trump ad on tv? I have seen a grand total of one. Is it just that I live in a part of the state of PA that Trump is sure he will carry?

Have you seen Trump ads where you live?

There's 2 places where you won't see Trump ads: places where he is sure to win and places where he is sure not to win. Everyone else will get ads a plenty. Trump just did a $60 million buy in select markets and another $25 million in regional buys. He also bought about $10 million that will air nationally but, in the world of national TV ads, $10 million isn't much.
