just my thoughts, but after hearing Cruz's speech, I have to think that the actions of Ken Cuccinelli and Mike Lee actually were an attempt to release the delegates and dump Trump to get Cruz nominated in this convention.

Cruz and Kasich seemed to have lost their sense of reality. "vote your conscience"

Well, let's just bring a song from 1964 back. I was just out of basic heading to Greenville MS on a bus. I heard this coming from a radio from the seat behind me. Halfway through the song I said, "What the fuck?"
A black guy sitting next to me said, Absolutely, brother". Thus adding to my confusion.

This is what Ted Cruz has to live with: At the moment when Americans gathered to support the best hope to make America great again, President Donald Trump, the only man who can stop the most corrupt politician in American history from gaining the highest office-- at that historic moment, Ted Cruz stood up before that assembly and masturbated.

Pence gave a great speech. He seems like a good choice and will make a great president when his time comes.

Heidi Cruz, wife of Texas Senator Ted Cruz, was reportedly rushed out of the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night after the crowd turned on her husband at the end of his speech.

Boos rained down on Ted Cruz as he issued a speech calling for people to vote on their "conscience" and declining to officially endorse Donald Trump, despite loud calls for him to do so from the crowd.

A reporter for the Richmond Times-Dispatch quickly posted a video purportedly of Heidi Cruz being escorted out of the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, where the convention is being held.

With her is Ken Cuccinelli, the former attorney general of Virginia, who has also been firmly anti-Trump.

Cuccinelli reportedly confirmed to journalists that he helped Heidi Cruz leave the scene after the speech out of concern for her safety, saying that people were "physically approaching her, berating her."

Other reporters at the convention also said that they saw Heidi Cruz being ushered out amid heckling from the crowd.

After leaving the floor, Heidi Cruz reportedly got into a verbal altercation with the head of the Washington delegation, who had berated Ted Cruz following his speech.

Ass Clown said today he might not come to the aid of a NATO country if they were attacked by Russia.
I'm sure Putin enjoyed hearing that.

Try some clarification on what DJT actually said.

"Donald J. Trump, on the eve of accepting the Republican nomination for president, said Wednesday that if he were elected, he would not pressure Turkey or other authoritarian allies about conducting purges of their political adversaries or cracking down on civil liberties. The United States, he said, has to “fix our own mess” before trying to alter the behavior of other nations.

“I don’t think we have a right to lecture,” Mr. Trump said in a wide-ranging interview in his suite in a downtown hotel here while keeping an eye on television broadcasts from the Republican National Convention. “Look at what is happening in our country,” he said. “How are we going to lecture when people are shooting policemen in cold blood?”

During a 45-minute conversation, Mr. Trump re-emphasized the hard-line nationalist approach that has marked his improbable candidacy, describing how he would force allies to shoulder defense costs that the United States has borne for decades, cancel longstanding treaties he views as unfavorable, and redefine what it means to be a partner of the United States.

He said the rest of the world would learn to adjust to his approach. “I would prefer to be able to continue” existing agreements, he said, but only if allies stopped taking advantage of what he called an era of American largess that was no longer affordable.

Giving a preview of his address to the convention on Thursday night, he said that he would press the theme of “America First,” his rallying cry for the past four months, and that he was prepared to scrap the North American Free Trade Agreement with Mexico and Canada if he could not negotiate radically better terms.

He even called into question whether, as president, he would automatically extend the security guarantees that give the 28 members of NATO the assurance that the full force of the United States military has their back.

For example, asked about Russia’s threatening activities that have unnerved the small Baltic States that are the most recent entrants into NATO, Mr. Trump said that if Russia attacked them, he would decide whether to come to their aid only after reviewing whether those nations “have fulfilled their obligations to us.” - New York Times

Yep. The same fool who will start a trade war with China while Putin is picking out his dacha the Baltics.

This election was over the first week in May. At this point, all we can do is vote down ballot and hold on til 2020.
