I'd have a good investigator check out the speech writers finances too. That's some tin foil crazy crap to think, but not beyond Soros.

It's almost like she googled "First Lady Speeches" for inspiration and then just snagged a few paragraphs.

Very Sloppy.

OK, so he has pins on his uniform, I'm sure each one them has a significance, not just there for the fun of it.

Generals used to get to design their own uniforms (aka Patton).

Maybe Chiefs do to, so he gets to pick all his own pieces of flair...

Say what you wish about Trump, but he is gathering support of some fine people.
Those Rinos that don't/won't support him do not count for anything in our USA anyhow, and they have exposed themselves for the political overlords they would like to be......I just cannot imagine anyone that could vote for a selfish commie felon and her party. JMNSHO
I did not watch the convention last nite but I came across this this AM.

Time will tell about Trump, but doubt he could EVER have the evil desires so highly visible in hrc.

A lot of good things were said last night, but all the MSM is talking about is Melania's speech.

Exactly the kind of distraction Trump's campaign doesn't need.

I pooh-poohed this when I first heard mention of it this morning. However after seeing the segments they are comparing side-by-side if those areas weren't straight lifted from Moochell that is an incredible coincidence. Can't believe someone in the speech writing group didn't pick up on that, but maybe they were more focused on fancy lights for later. That she's now insisting she wrote all this on her own, I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing for the campaign.

Either way, hopefully it will be a skipping stone and gone soon.

WHO on God's green earth would emulate ANYTHING that walking, talking, blithering idiot would say or do??

As to the topic at hand, my mom told me that Giuliani's speech was FANTASTIC. She said he missed his calling to be a Pentecostal preacher. Big Grin Gotta pull up a Youtube vid of that.....

It's a temporary distraction, nothing more. A bunch of cackling hens making noise, as usual. Soon to be forgotten, and for those who don't forget it, so what? Try telling us you made your choice for POTUS based upon something like this. Ain't happenin', guys. Sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Didn't we have a CO member that was elected as a delegate in that states funky primary who was anti Trump?

Wonder if they attended and were a part of the delegates from CO that walked out. WTF would you travel up there to leave...

A guest on Varney & Co speculated that this was planned to get a day's worth of Melania versus the she-beast publicity. If so, BRILLIANT!

If that were true, I'd of expected (and been grateful for) a wardrobe malfunction, instead.

Maybe but I have always found it unprofessional and undignified to go around dressed like a South American Army colonel, or a Cub Scout on speed.

The most impressive law enforcement uniform I have seen is that of Texas Rangers. Dignified, practical, distinctive, and comfortable.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

You guys are complaining about the man's uniform?

This is called "a loss of perspective".

Does anyone need to be reminded about what's at stake? Snap out of it, please.

that would be 1967goat, and I don't think he is or was anti Trump, but was definitely in the Cruz camp, nevertheless - I'm pretty sure he isn't there at the RNC or participating in any of the last minute shenanigans that seem to be over now anyway.

Stop worrying about any fodder Trump might give the media or the opposition (redundancy). He could do everything perfectly, never make any missteps, and they'd just make shit up. You need look no further than NBC's rigging the gas tanks of old-style GM trucks to explode, or the more recent Katie Couric/VCDL affair, for examples.

For those concerned about the media's hyper coverage of Ms. Trump's speech, here's news for you; they WILL continue to do this all week and until Nov. Any little shitty thing they will inflate, exaggerate, and confuse, while ignoring substance.

They are not here to fluff Donald Trump.
