We still have another month before the convention. I expect the next ~30days to be filled with all manner of last minute fuckery, posturing, and other machinations.

Some fuck-face delegate in Colorado is beating the #AnyoneButTrump drum, and the ever-worthless and nearly-traitorous Paul Ryan is preaching "vote your conscience" in some thinly veiled typical-politician way, after blessing Trump with his lukewarm "support".

I suspect Trump is a busy man, simply wading through the daily bullshit, but it will be interesting to see who he and Hillary choose and the effect both choices have.

Six months ago a close friend and his wife, who live in Wisconsin, were singing Ryan's praises. Last month I got an e-mail from my friend full of the most vile language about Ryan that I've ever heard him use in the nearly 50 years I've known him.

I'm thinking I should e-mail Ryan and tell him this, along with thanking him for banning Confederate flags at US cemeteries, since it reminded me to order one for myself.

Para, I know you Hate vehemently dislike "the Facebook" but I gotta say joining pink pistols recently (who have absolutely invaded my FB feed with pro-2A posts) has actually given me a glimmer of hope. Talking with lots of people in the LGBGTQ community who are as equally pro 2A as I am has been hella refreshing. I dare say it's given me a glimmer of hope.

Here is some good news, and may it be a harbinger of things to come: A former Navy SEAL defeated a RINO in a VA primary. The SEAL was outspent 10 to 1 by the RINO who supported Obamatrade. Here's hoping Paul Ryan gets the boot, along with John McCain and the whole herd of Uniparty traitors.

I can't believe some of the polls after Orlando. Some say Crooked Hildebeest gained a lead. Some say The Don gained ground.

Maybe it's not as close as we're lead to believe and maybe we're just being strung along for ratings. It's definitely been a soap-opera of an election cycle.

Maybe, as Rush implies, we need to stop paying attention to polls and more attention to "likes" on social media to get a better picture of what's really going on.

I can't help but think that these polls were rigged to lean to the left.

Tony.

I think you're right. They are rigged to lean left. Stand outside a Whole Foods market to poll people, guess which direction your poll will go.....etc. etc. I live in the Fort Lauderdale area, and it appears Trump has the most ground.....and honestly I see a lot more bernie bumper stickers next and very few clinton ones.

To give you guys something to think about, over on Reddit there are several subreddits in support of Trump. These subreddits have dominated the front page of r/all for the past several weeks. The result: reddit announced a change in their algorythm for r/all and now the various Trump reddits aren't near the top.

Reddit uses a voting system of up and downvotes for posts that push popular content to the top and unpopular content to the bottom. Trump became too popular so they changed the scoring system.

Expect lots and lots of thumb-on-the-scale activities between now and election day. The last thing the libs want is for Trump to appear to be popular.

Thank you President Trump.

6 months ago Trump polled 6% higher on anonymous polls. Here's a recent article re-afirming a similar thought:

I'm fully convinced the GOPe is going to change the rules at the convention so they can dump Trump. They know whoever they pick can't win. They'd be happier with the Hildabeast than Trump. The Hildabeast is bought and paid for by the same forces that have bought an paid for (or just are) the Republican establishment. They think they can control her. They can't control him.

Let's hope the Drudge story about Thomas wanting to retire isn't true. It went on to say that if Kennedy also steps down the liberals could end up with a 7-2 majority if Hillary wins.

Ginsberg is holding on by her fingernails, so if Trump wins, he'll pick up a liberal seat.

But lets face it. If the Hildabeast wins, the Dems control the SCOTUS for another twenty years.

Lewandowski....You're fired!

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/06...nald-trump.html?_r=0

Donald Trump Parts Ways With Corey Lewandowski, His Campaign Manager

Donald J. Trump is parting ways with his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, a move that comes as the presumptive Republican nominee faces challenges as it moves toward the general election.

“The Donald J. Trump Campaign for President, which has set a historic record in the Republican primary having received almost 14 million votes, has today announced that Corey Lewandowski will no longer be working with the campaign,” the campaign spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, said in a statement. “The campaign is grateful to Corey for his hard work and dedication and we wish him the best in the future.”

Mr. Trump had faced increasing concerns from allies and donors, as well as his children, about his preparedness to pivot toward a general election while holding onto his slender team.

Mr. Trump had faced increasing concerns from allies and donors, as well as his children, about the next phase of the campaign as he pivots toward a general election.

One person briefed on the moves, who asked not to be identified, said the campaign had long planned adjustments to adjust to the needs of a general election campaign.

Mr. Trump has recently seen his standing dropping in recent national polls, and is now facing a barrage of ads by Hillary Clinton and her allies.

It appears that Lewandowski will not be missed by the other campaign advisors around Trump.

With Lewandowski leaving, I do hope Trump can get it together and start to mount a serious campaign. He is fighting a massively uphill battle in the electoral college. He needs to needs to realize his base isn't enough to win and stop scaring the crap out of everyone else.

Obama didn't win because his blackness and charisma got everyone to the polls. He won because his organization on the ground drove massive turnout, literally driving people to the polls to vote. Trump has no ground game to speak of.

Hopefully he will get some campaign staffing that knows how to win elections.
