CNN has been topping FOX in the prime 25-54 demographic. I caught the last few minutes of Princess Megan's show-- I think it was Friday-- and she was all smiles and playing to the camera as cute as she could be at the close. If ratings keep falling, next week she'll be blowing kisses.

Actually, I now watch CNN about as much as Fox. (I don't watch either very much.) They are no better, but they are no worse.

This has certainly been an interesting election season so far and we can mostly thank Trump. When he jumped into this race I didn’t know what was going to happen. The one thing I would have never thought would happen is that I would come to regard Ted Cruz as just another scumbag politician. I didn’t see that one coming.

A lot of us have had that realization. I was a big Cruz supporter until some people on this Forum began questioning his actions. I really wanted to believe he was going to clean house. So disappointing.

But I have made it a point to inform our Republican Rep that we were disgusted with the GOPe and we left the Party.

Also agree about how he's changed. I think trump didnt necessarily want to win but shake things up as he done. When the dust settled he realized he was in fact the best candidate.

I don't watch either one of them. Get most of my news from Sigforum or OANN, the rest from the car radio.

Yeah, probably have to store it under water, or is it kerosene? And certainly keep it outside, and away from the trees and under brush.

Damn, memory getting really bad. Can't recall the name of that stuff we used to fire in mortar rounds to set fires, etc. Really impressive when the round detonates on tree tops. Real fire shower results. And if you get the stuff on you it is far from good because it keeps burning until it is all gone or deprived of oxygen.

Edited to add: The stuff is phosphorous! Only took a few minutes for it to bubble up to the surface! Razz

That's the kind of crap the GOPe wants to pull on us. That needs fixing...

http://www.foxnews.com/politic...on.html?intcmp=hpbt2

From the Comments:
quote:

I don't know how what they did was legal. Trump got the most votes on the floor. That's fact. Straight from the AZ GOP's voting website. His tally was around 430. Cruz was 409, and Kasich was 57. So separately, both Cruz and Kasich were defeated. They worked out some kind of backroom deal to combine both Cruz and Kasich's votes to win. How is that fair? Each candidate is supposed to be separate? That's how we vote for them in primaries. It doesn't say Trump, and then CRUZ+KASICH on the ballots?

So now Trump won Arizona convincingly, in a winner-take-all state, and is walking away with only 2 delegates for subsequent ballots at a convention. There is something major going on behind the scenes to deny Trump delegates from being elected. This is happening all over the country in states Trump has won fairly, and soundly. It really is rigged, and the party should be ashamed. Treating the presumptive nominee like shit because the establishment isn't getting their way and the people are rebeling against them.

How about that really old fashioned idea that the guy with the most votes actually wins?

Screw these caucus shenanigans and all the election fixing they accomplish.

Ya goes to the poll, shows your ID, cast your ballot, go home. Ballots are counted, the guy with the most votes wins.

Damn, what a concept!

Cruz is really going over the top.

Host John Dickerson asked Cruz on CBS’s Sunday morning program whether he is able to “overthrow” Trump at the Republican National nominating convention in Cleveland. “In a situation of delegates over people, won’t that lead to riots?”

Cruz called the use of the word “overthrow” a “loaded spin word” after stating, “No, it won’t, although Donald may do everything he can to encourage riots.”

Cruz has repeatedly made statements such as “the people would quite rightly revolt” if the establishment tries to parachute in a “white knight” establishment candidate

It's going to get down to him and Glenn Beck-- who recently pressed his face into a bowl of crushed Cheetos to "look like Donald Trump." I have gone from supporting Cruz strongly to having zero respect for him.

Me too. I sent Cruz a small donation months ago, but I am turned off by Cruz stealing delegates in back room deals after Trump wins the votes of people the delegates are supposed to represent.

latest CNN poll for Indiana: Trump 49%, Cruz 34%

latest Rasmussen poll Trump 41%, Clinton 39%

Count me as another one disillusioned recently by Cruz for a variety of reasons. Fortunately I still have a chance to act on it, since our state primary election has yet to be held. Not a fan of Trump, though, so the choice between the two that was once so clear has really been muddied.

I know that it has not worked that way for a very long time. My point is, was, that it is the way it SHOULD work. One man/person one vote. None of this horseshit of the establishment deciding who gets immaculated in direct violation of the stated will of the people.

It's quite amazing to see peoples views change over the past year concerning Trump and Cruz. So much promise by Cruz wasted. And the Donald is shinning bright and strong.

Just out of curiosity, not a barb aimed at you, Cruz has been proven, several times by his own words, to be a liar. He has proven that he will do ANYTHING whether immoral, or not, is not in his decision making process.

Remember his recent statement about never really had any experience with Boehner? Turns out he was an attorney working on some legal case for Boehner! Just to name one case where he has lied and been caught.

Nobody has caught Trump in a lie, and he has been completely honest about his past relationships with elected officials. As he points out, everything he did was legal. He has not tried to hide those incidents, nor should he have to do so.

Vote, or not, for the person of your choice, it is your right. It is every person's right to vote his conscience.

A very wise man once said that if you don't vote you have no right to complain about the outcome.

In an almost Hillary like fashion, Cruz lost this election by himself. The final nail being this running mate nonsense.

Hillary's biggest challenge to actually being elected, is her own corrupt ass. Hopefully, that coupled with the disdain for her will be enough to keep her from the Whitehouse.

Cruz wasn't viable from day one. Too many people view him as a theocrat, in a bad way. That, and he's hated by, oh, everyone in Washington.

I'll be happy with Trump, because Trump isn't Cruz, but he SURE ain't Clinton.
