also: Just so it is clear, the "Woman Card" above is directly from the Clinton Campaign. It was not intended by them to be a joke, although it actually is in reality a pathetic joke.

How sad that tens of millions of Dem voters will vote for her based only on her gender.

Did I hear correctly on the news that in order to get that card you have to donate, or buy it?

A recent article on Trump by Pat Buchanan talked about his 2004 book Trump: The Art of the Deal, so I decided to check it out. Very fast, easy read and a page turner - 384 pages took less than 2 days. Breaks down several deals and gives valuable insight into the man. One of the closing quotes: ...two things I've found I'm good at: overcoming obstacles and motivating good people to do their best work. Many examples of both.

back on page 376 there was a post about Wash DC Rep delegate Rina Shah Bharara.

She said if Trump was the candidate, she would vote for Clinton.

An update:

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-...6/04/30/exclusive-3/

The D.C. GOP has removed anti-Donald Trump, pro-Hillary Clinton delegate Rina Shah Bharara from the D.C. delegation to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

The executive committee of the D.C. GOP stripped Bharara of her delegate status in a 14-6 vote Thursday after Breitbart News reported that Bharara actually lives in the state of Virginia, not the city of Washington, D.C. Bharara does not meet residency requirements to be a D.C. delegate.

Bharara also publicly criticized both Trump and Cruz for their concern that Muslims might commit terrorist attacks in the United States, citing the fact that she has Muslim relatives.

The media attention to the DC local party was overwhelming with the Rinah issue. The first step was to ensure Rinah was removed from the delegation.

The leadership was very clear about uniting behind the presumptive nominee and Trump’s name was used in that context multiple times during the meeting. I didn’t ever hear anyone suggest they would go to Cleveland to ensure Trump isn’t the nominee.

Columnist George Will has destroyed his credibility.

https://www.washingtonpost.com...050f76d7d_story.html

George Will:

A convention’s sovereign duty is to choose a plausible nominee who has a reasonable chance to win, not to passively affirm the will of a mere plurality of voters recorded episodically in a protracted process.

keep in mind Trump will likely have more primary votes than any other Rep candidate, ever

Were he to be nominated, conservatives would have two tasks. One would be to help him lose 50 states — condign punishment for his comprehensive disdain for conservative essentials, including the manners and grace that should lubricate the nation’s civic life.

Second, conservatives can try to save from the anti-Trump undertow as many senators, representatives, governors and state legislators as possible.

what an idiot. Vote in Clinton so we can have manners and grace

I want a junk yard dog to rip apart every policy, appointment, executive order, and law that obama jammed down our throats

The vote was 14 to 6. I'm pleased that 14 did the right thing. I'd like to know a bit more about the 6 who thought she should stick around.

Me, too.

I've no illusions that I/we are directly responsible, but I do think the Party leadership, such as it is, has to be aware of the position they're in via the collective attitude about them, lately. We (the people) have been speaking loudly, frequently, and bluntly - they know they're under the microscope, I'm sure, and one positive effect is the good and right things they do do, since everyone is watching, so to speak. The best thing for everyone is that they see the writing on the wall, and at least from a survival standpoint - avoid the temptation to engage in any fuckery - and just serve the people rather than self interests.

This is what happens - good, bad, or otherwise - when more people pay attention.

It will be epic.

William Kristol of Weekly Standard has been extremely anti-Trump.

But here is a W Kristol link about an analysis of why things broke the way they did for Trump and Cruz. Very interesting.

And very, very long winded. Bottom line is Trump is standing outside the box and smashing it. Much to the delight of the American Voters who are tired of being lied to by "Slick Willie" types.

There were some serious Delegate distribution shenanigans at the Arizona GOP Convention. Trump got 286K votes to Cruz's 172K (46% vs 28%)...But Cruz got almost all of the 28 at large delegates and they about split the 27 bound delegates.

That's the kind of crap the GOPe wants to pull on us. That needs fixing...

http://www.foxnews.com/politic...on.html?intcmp=hpbt2

From the Comments:
quote:

I don't know how what they did was legal. Trump got the most votes on the floor. That's fact. Straight from the AZ GOP's voting website. His tally was around 430. Cruz was 409, and Kasich was 57. So separately, both Cruz and Kasich were defeated. They worked out some kind of backroom deal to combine both Cruz and Kasich's votes to win. How is that fair? Each candidate is supposed to be separate? That's how we vote for them in primaries. It doesn't say Trump, and then CRUZ+KASICH on the ballots?

So now Trump won Arizona convincingly, in a winner-take-all state, and is walking away with only 2 delegates for subsequent ballots at a convention. There is something major going on behind the scenes to deny Trump delegates from being elected. This is happening all over the country in states Trump has won fairly, and soundly. It really is rigged, and the party should be ashamed. Treating the presumptive nominee like shit because the establishment isn't getting their way and the people are rebeling against them.

I've often pondered just how many Demonrats have infiltrated the GOP in a effort to weaken the party. That DC delegate mess with Rina Shah Bharara and the horrible fact that a few fucking idiots voted to keep her makes me hate the GOP even more than I do currently.

Who voted to keep her? They need to be put under a microscope.

This primary season has revealed much about Cruz's ethics, or more precisely, his lack thereof. He has turned out to be a real sleazeball.

He can't win the nomination straight up, because the people don't want another slimy politician. Instead, he spends his time scheming and looking for ways to game the system. It is easy to see now why anyone who works with him can't stand him.
