One cannot both defend the mother and fight her at the same time, and I've never met anyone who is against abortion and can claim to be pro-mother in the same breath (with a straight face).

That ad is terrible, and not helping our side, at all.

I picked up on that too. He's talking out of both sides of his mouth then launches the lefts "he's against women" attack.

Ted Cruz doesn't dissapoint. Once again, taking a page out of the left's "War on Women".

Not even close. But nice try.

Just curious, how you would respond as a candidate running against Trump regarding his absurd and, quite frankly, stupid remarks? And I mean monumentally stupid remarks.

It isn't a nice try. Its the truth. Riddle me this, if Ted Cruz is against abortion and it becomes illegal, what should happen to the people involved in doing abortions? Thats right, a punishment. Pro-lifers can't have it both ways.

Maybe Mathews et al are suggesting we have a set of laws where there is no consequence for violation. Seems like that kinda defeats the purpose of the whole law thing.

The politically safe answer is, you punish the Dr., not the patient. Most anyone who's never given the punishment aspect any thought or study, would struggle to come up with that answer, and Matthews knew it. Trump's mistake was he should have said, "I'll have to think about that and get back to you."

Trump needs to be careful not to give the establishment ammunition to take his delegates.

http://hotair.com/archives/201...support-the-nominee/

South Carolina required candidates to pledge their loyalty to the party’s eventual nominee in order to secure a slot on the primary ballot. Though Trump won all of the state’s delegates in the Feb. 20 primary, anti-Trump forces are plotting to contest their binding to Trump because of his threat on the pledge Tuesday…

South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Matt Moore gave credence to the anti-Trump claims.

“Breaking South Carolina’s presidential primary ballot pledge raises some unanswered legal questions that no one person can answer,” he told TIME. “However, a court or national convention Committee on Contests could resolve them. It could put delegates in jeopardy.”…

Those delegates would be bound to Trump on the first ballot according to state and RNC rules.

The challenge, which could only be filed once delegates are selected, would seek to allow them to be free-agents on the first ballot, thereby keeping Trump further from the key 1,237 figure he needs to secure the nomination.

Since Wisconsin is an open primary, it will be interesting to see if Trump can compelled enough Independents and crossover Democrats to upset the Fox poll which has Cruz up by 10 points after polling a whooping 481 registered Republicans. What a joke Fox News is.

It's incredible but I guess typical that you would deflect and attack Cruz instead of directing your criticism where it truly belongs.

I'm strongly against abortion, and I don't believe let alone would I ever even say what Trump did.

So where does the criticism belong and for what exactly? I'm Pro-Life myself, but that does lead to the logical conclusion that if you want to make something illegal, there will be a punishmemt for doing it. So what is Trump guilty of?

Also, I'm not deflecting anything. I'm pointing out that it is highly hypocritical of Cruz to interject any negative statements, when one would assume that they share the same beliefs. How do you square him saying that he wants to defend the unborn......and the women/mothers at the same time? That doesn't make sense to me. Either you believe its wrong or you don't.

OK, an article from an insider that states Trump is out for Trump and does not have a clear grasp of policy.
Now, which of the candidates running, hell, who in the past 4 governments, has had a good grasp of policy? And look at the state of affairs after the last regime full of politically correct geniuses have had their way for 7 years.
My opinion about Trump is that this article is largely correct, he never expected to get this far. He is certainly not a politician, and he really has not spent alot of time thinking about some of these issues past the gut feel stuff. This does not disqualify him, as most the time his gut feel comments are correct, they just lack detail, and he can certainly provide that later. I find it rather ironic that the press seems to buy into so much of what HC states when her record to date pretty much demonstrates that she is either lying, or incompetent. Her party had four years controlling both houses and had a genius as president. So why was the war on women not won? Perhaps nobody was actually fighting? Perhaps it is an imaginary war? Either way, the press seem to be oblivious to reality.

OAN poll this morning shows them to be about even.

Of course we all know that polls can, and usually are, slanted in one particular direction or the other.

All this BS by the RNC is nothing more than panic by the GOPe.

And the tragedy is that so many people believe what PMSNBC et al put on the screen.

I want to know where all of the coverage is of Hilary going off on the Bernie supporter, yelling at her, wagging her finger in her face. Seems to me by current journalistic standards Hilary doesn't have the temperament to be President...

Imagine if The Donald had done that?

Da Fug? So she admits what the protester said was true, but is sick about the Sanders campaign lying about her? So where are the media on all of this? She seems incoherent, misogynistic, and is acting like a bully.
