Lest we forget one lesson of 9-11.

While the nation concerned itself with hanging chads, and all the crap in the needless and fruitless fighting, we got sucker punched and were left with the equivalent of a traumatic brain injury in this nation.

We have more diverse enemies today, with greater capability and deeper evil intent than we did 14 and a half years ago.

We need to be looking at that threat and not giving in to the soap selling media whores who are only in this for the money, the lights, the camera and the action they create.

We are smarter than that.

Well, I'm going to suggest to you that if Cruz gets the nomination, you should support him, because no matter what you think about the guy, he's a saint compared to that harpy Clinton.

I'll take this opportunity to reiterate the following to all members: It's your vote of course, and you can cast it as you choose, or refrain from casting it at all. No one can tell you what to do with your vote.
Having said that, we- that is to say I- do not have to listen to anyone in this forum who says whacky stuff like "If so-and-so gets the Republican nomination, I'm voting for Hillary."
No one believes you, of course, but still, we err I do not have to tolerate such nonsense, and anyone who starts down that path in this forum will be shown the door PDQ.

If the local dog catcher gets the nomination and is opposite Hillary on my ballot, I will vote for the dog catcher.

Isn't that the truth? Cruz or Trump are my top two. I don't even want to write the names of the criminals candidates from the other political party as options.

And Ted, man, prove me wrong. I've said that you cannot win in the general election. Make me eat those words, Ted. In all of my lifetime, cradle to grave, I could never be happier to be wrong, than to be wrong about this. If you get the ball, run with it, spike it and prove your detractors wrong.

I don't know how many times this needs to be said before it sinks in. We are on the SAME TEAM. The country will be better off with either.

I am glad that it should be either Cruz or Trump. What would really suck, is a brokered convention givin us anyone else. Romney, Ryan, or somebody similar would not be an acceptable outcome, for millions of Republican voters.

I can't wait til the convention. It's gonna be tense.

Which is why either candidate who can't come up with enough delegates should bow out prior to the convention.

During the town hall I attended today Trump asked us in the audience during the break by show of hands who was voting for him. Believe it or not only a handful of people including myself raised our hands. Most of the people in attendance were democrats, some even admitted hard core leftists. Yet, they were all eager after it was over to get a selfie with him.

He did thank to ones that were voting for him and told everybody to make sure they voted next Tuesday. I personally could picture him as our next President and I think he can do a good job. Certainly better than the alternative.

Outside of voting, this was the first political event I ever attended. I felt that most of the people there only cared about "feel good" issues.......essentially it seems the population only cares about what is in it for "them" or their own little group. Doesn't anybody care about the long term survival of this country anymore? I guess we will see....

Can't believe there was a time when I liked Rubio.

Now he wants to keep his delegates so he can stop Trump.

Just have a look at Megyn Kelly. Turn the sound off. Does this look to you like a journalist interested in truth? What does it look like she is interested in?

I agree with the Monkey. Let's not fall for this crap-- as we do when we start fighting with one another.

Don't talk about abortion. Just Don't! While the media is going to have a field day with this crap I doubt it's going to cost DT many votes. Smart people see through this charade and the msm is truly hated. Still, a big dose of stfu would have been the best response to an abortion question.

If there is ever a time that DT's bluster would be useful, it would be when an activist msnbc reporter tries to bring up abortion. Be curt and dismissive then get back to talking about building the wall. Dignifying abortion talk with an answer was a sucker move.

And we see how well that went. March 30, 2016 the date DT officially handed the election to Hillary. Thanks Donald.
