Rubio and Cruz attacking Trump non-stop last night did two things. It made it very clear to the viewers that Trump was the most important person on the stage, far and away the leader, the man to beat, i.e., the most presidential. Also, two against one is not a fair fight. Cruz and Rubio each looked like half a man that needed the other to take on Trump.

The winner: Donald Trump.

The sad part is that these spectacles have become the presidential "debates." How long before one of them hauls off and cold cocks another? Maybe not in this cycle, but 2020. It's just a matter of time.

One other thought: Rubio's eyes are frightened and shifty. Not just sometimes, all the time. He is still at that early stage of political duplicity where he still knows he is a phony. That's why he choked when Christie attacked him. (Eventually, like Clinton, they no longer know what is true or false, and they can say anything at all with ease.)

Thank you. My wife laughed for a while when Cruz was pointing at Trump and yelling; "he called me a liar", and the moderator was wanting to move on. I suspect that the moderator already had a boatload of Cruz's and Rubio's foolish chat at that point.

I also suspect that Rubio and Cruz have a big problem in that no one is listening to them anymore and this is showing in their poll numbers. Unless it is possible to win fairly with a smaller polling figure, as some pretend to do.

Cruz is probably done after Tuesday if Rubio doesn't drop, but will he leave the race? Trump will keep winning states, but last night could very well have driven enough people to Rubio to cause him a delegate problem. This could be heading towards a brokered convention where Trump burns the house down afterwards and runs third party.

My brother was supporting Chris Christie. Cut him some slack though; he's not very political. He just really liked Christie's authoritative and decisive manner. Perhaps this'll push him into the Trump camp. I look forward to having a chat with him.

He now has both of them going after him with vigor. This is going to get really ugly. We're looking at Rubio<-->Cruz vs. Trump/Christie.

Certainly, he did also say a few things that were well spoken, but polished and manipulative speaking is what he does that for a living, so he should be good at it.

Some people do not fare well in "word fights", but that does not indicate the fortitude is not their most powerful weapon.

Rubio is too much left of center for me and has more in common with the Geico Gecko.
