These jackass analysts on Fox, I swear to God. They keep spouting this crap that Trump has reached his peak support and that Cruz and Rubio are stealing each other's votes. This idiot is trying to tell me that if Cruz drops out, I'm going to jump over and support Rubio. Dickhead, not a chance.

They. Still. Don't. Get. It.

As others posted, he appeals to more Independent voters , Blacks, Hispanics, Blue Dog Democrats upset with the 2 socialists, and frankly, to those who really don't know anything about the issues, but know the Trump name and celebrity. Conservative citizens are fine with him because of his hard line stance on illegal aliens, trade, and the military.

He is by far the single most compelling person in the race for President. He is far smarter and more shrewd than Hillary. His star continues to rise, her's inches down every week.

because Trump has cross-over appeal, especially among southern democrats. Cruz has zero cross-over appeal.

You might be right, but isn't the cross-over appeal argument the same thing people said when they nominated those "moderate" Republicans in the past couple of elections? I have lived in the south my whole life and I don't know any so-called "Southern Democrats" that aren't just GDCs who will vote for Hillary. The old Dixiecrats have either wised up or died off at this point. And we're really just talking about Florida and Virginia anyway, right? I mean, Hillary ain't winning any other southern states no matter who she's up against. So, the argument is that Trump has enough cross-over appeal among on the fence voters in FL and VA to carry those states?

I think Trump could win Virginia, N. Carolina, Florida, and New Mexico. obama won all these states in 2008. I won't compare the 2012 election since that was an incumbent election.

This is a good article by Camille Paglia. I disagree with most of what she says, generally, but this one in on the money. It's about Hillary and Sanders, but it applies perfectly to the GOPe-- and why we need to elect Donald Trump.

Trump doesn't look smart, or sound smart with his Noo Yawkese. But he has made a billion dollars.

Hillary is much weaker than the MSM will let on. Yes, the Democrat vote machine will crank 'em out, including multiple votes, the dead, lost ballots, the whole schmear. But a whole lot of Democrats are going to cross over to Trump, and others will just sit home.

Trump will beat her.

Nevada Caucus:

Trump 34,531 votes

Clinton 6,300 votes

in 2012, Obama won Nevada by 7%.

Based on the primaries so far, Republican voters have much more enthusiasm than Democrats

Why were they held on different dates?

Is Nevada an open state? Can anybody go to any caucus?

Let's not ignore God Damned Commie "election management" antics.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Dems and Reps separately pick their dates.

Participants in each party's caucuses must be registered with that party

The Nevada Republican Party caucus is a closed caucus with eligibility limited to those registered 30 days before the caucus date including 17-year-olds who will be eligible to vote in the November general election.

The Nevada Democratic Party caucus is a closed caucus for Democrats registered by the caucus date and who will be at least 18 years old by election day in November of the election year

Yup. Mexico--along with a few other despicable leaders in the world--is scared shitless of a President Trump, a fact in which I find lovely.

I'm like you and my initial reaction is that Cruz supporters and Trump supporters are far more likely coming from the same pool of voters than Rubio supporters and Cruz supporters. But I'm wondering if that's just because we are more engaged than the average voter. Perhaps the analysts think that there are great swaths of uninformed voters who are turned off by Trump's ass-clownery and could flip between the other two what they see as more traditional candidates? I don't know who is right, but I always have to remind myself that the vast majority of people are not like you and me and the other folks on this forum who are tuned in to what is going on. I do hope the analysts are wrong though.

Earlier this year, Mexico’s central bank released data indicating Mexicans abroad sent home $23.6 billion in 2014, almost all of it from the United States

Trump says that is his leverage.

Donald needs to create a new company that makes ammo including .22LR! He could call it Winning Ammunition Company. I'd happily buy some Winning (WAC) ammo. Big Grin

http://www.politico.com/story/...-debate-night-219760

The final Republican presidential debate Thursday night before the Super Tuesday contests has the potential to be an epic display of anger and rhetorical aggression, with Rubio and Cruz going after each other on everything from policy to character as each struggles to emerge as the single alternative to Donald Trump.

At this critical juncture in the race, with Trump on a three-state win streak and Republican operatives questioning whether time is running out to stop the New York billionaire, tonight’s fireworks-filled forum will provide a window into the contenders’ end-game strategies.
