I mean, really, Trump has SINGLEHANDEDLY broken the PC spell in the news media. He has SINGLEHANDEDLY initiated dialogue on REAL issues, not Global Warming or any of that stupid commie crap.

But, oh, let's forget what he has ACCOMPLISHED- ACCOMPLISHED, gentlemen. Are you familiar with the fucking word?? Let's forget how he has shaken up this race to a degree NO ONE else could, and in the face of all that, let's call him a petulant child.

Sure, that kind of SHIT really helps this nation, boys, so, please do go on pissing and moaning. I can't enough of that whiny-ass SHIT!!!!! Mad

Because Trump was going to be on, I watched O’Reilly tonight and I was delighted to see him step into deep shit. O’Reilly was trying to cover Kelly’s ass. At the end of the segment, O’Reilly tried to get Trump to reconsider his decision not to attend the debate. Trump mildly chastised O’Reilly for doing that since they supposedly had a previous agreement that O’Reilly would not do that very thing.

Next segment was with Monica Crowley and Eboni Williams who put Bill’s other foot in another pile. O’Reilly got into the womens’ vote. Crowley chastised him to quit talking about it and being condescending to women.
Williams stated that she does not vote with her uterus.
By them doing that to Bill, they redefined the term “bitch slap”.

Members should really pay attention to this.

It is truth. Not fairy tales in Conservative Goldilocks Land.

If I had my druthers, Cruz would rule. Seriously.

But that MOST LIKELY will not happen.

Cruz will not appeal to independents. He will not appeal to those who voted for Obama, but are tired of his policies and the direction he has taken this country. He will not appeal to Democrats who cannot stomach the corrupt lyin' Hillary. Or the socialist commie Bernie.

Trump is the ONLY candidate who is crossing all boundaries. He is the ONLY one beating back a very unpopular mass media. He is the ONLY one that is not a Washington DC insider. He is doing everything Romney didn't.

And he is leaning more towards OUR values than all of the other candidates who has a direct chance of winning.

Are YOU gonna throw it away?

Trump will carry a higher percentage of the black vote than any other Republican. The typical 90%+ black vote is a cornerstone for any Democrat candidate. If Trump pulled 15-20% the Dems could not win the general election.

One guess who wins the cable new ratings battle tomorrow night.

It is my hope that before too long, people will get past their personal prejudices, stop the pointless bitching, open their eyes as to what's really going on here, and will do what needs to be done.

One channel will have the also-rans spending at least 50% of their time talking about Trump. The other will be ALL TRUMP! - ALL THE TIME!

Man, what a mistake he is making. Cool

Trump the strategist

One by one Trump has successfully chopped off at the knees institutional figures that posed a potential threat to his objective. Like a shark smelling blood in the water, Trump seems to intuitively sense weakness and ruthlessly attacks it.

The Republican old guard establishment:
John McCain & Jeb!
It was in my view a sometimes crass display of his killer instinct. He punched his way to a seat at the GOP table.

The doctrine of political correctness:
"... I frankly don't have time for political correctness. And, to be honest with you this country doesn't have time either..."
A brilliant wedge that jammed up the current game of "gotcha quotes" that opposition politicians use to castrate the free exchange of ideas and media use to force obsequiousness from politicians they secretly oppose. He essentially said that "gotcha quotes" don't scare him in the least because they won't work and, in any case he does not care; too much to get done. It also resonated with citizens pissed off at feeling that only scum bags can say what they think.

The National Print and Electronic Media:
Megan Kelley was just a prop not the object. I think that a media savvy man like Trump understood not only how to use the media but how much large swaths of the voting public hates the national news media. Avoiding the debate is a high-risk strategy that might cost Iowa but might just give him big, big wins down the road. News reporting is now a for profit venture and he sent a a huge message. He is not signaling that he will avoid the national election debates, he is just laying the ground rules.

Notice that Trump shows his hand when in the position of strength. After he can claim to have won the previous debates, he refuses to attend and only after he is the solid GOP front runner does he then pledge not to form a third party. The message: I am strong, they are weak.

To be sure the election is a long way off; hubris might slay Trump yet but I doubt it.

Silent

Yeah, under card debate or main stage? That's just spin.

I don't like the O'Reilly Factor, but he was spot on that Trump needs to drop the personal petty crap. If not his ego is going to sink him. Take a look at the past few weeks. He went from being the favorite who we could unite behind, to putting us in a GOP race with a level of anger I've never seen before. There was no reason for it either other than ego. He admitted in the debate that it was all because Cruz got close to him. Maybe Cruz would have won Iowa, but he was taking New Hampshire and was up big in South Carolina.

When you are up by a few touchdowns you don't need to take big risks, but he doesn't seem to have a governor on his engine. There was a Patriots game against the Eagles this year where they were up 21-0 and their aggressiveness backfired. Instead of kicking off they decided to try an onside kick and it changed the entire momentum of the game and they lost.

People shrug off the birther thing, Scott Brown as VP, hitting Cruz low on the loans, and now skipping the debate because nothing hurts him in the polls. That's fine, but at some point, probably in the general, these unnecessary risks are going to backfire. Just like today when he basically called Kelly a Bimbo. Independent women voters aren't going to like that crap. There is a way to make a point without offending voters.

If he's as unstoppable in the GOP primary as some of you think you should be concerned about that as well. If he doesn't change it's just a matter time.

Yeah, voters are really concerned about the "outrageous" things says and does. That's why he has all the support he's gotten. Sure, that makes sense. You're right. Trump doesn't know what he's doing, and he needs to listen to other people.

Right? Yeah, you bet.

Oooh, I know! Let's get some politically correct, extremely timid "Republican" to go out and APOLOGIZE on behalf of Trump. Let's go back ti the phony bullshit PC posturing, OK? Let's go back to the same old shit each election cycle. Yeah. Great idea.

You guys should be thanking Trump for SINGLEHANDEDLY bringing about change that will resonate for YEARS in this country. But, oh, sorry. I forgot. Trump "offends" you, so just screw this nation, right? Let's put someone on office who is inoffensive, and is very careful about what they say. Let's project weakness, because, as we all know, people are attracted to weakness, and not strength. And, my God, we wouldn't want to offend anyone, such as "undocumented workers", or the "peaceful Syrian refugees".

The ship is sinking. Wake the fuck up and pitch in.

Para, he has support from 35% of GOP voters. It's going to take a lot more than that to win the general. Say he has 40%, that means 60% like someone else or haven't made up their minds on the GOP side. Look at how angry this thread has gotten. His over aggressiveness and ego is a perfectly valid concern for those who don't act like he walks on water or think he's the only hope.

The he's the only hope argument may fly in a GOP race, but not in a general. You may not think so, but the media has been holding back on him. You are going to hear nothing but questions like Kelly asked him in September and when he Tweets, "I can't call her a bimbo because it's not PC" he's going to lose female voters.

He was told in the interview tonight that at some point he's going to have to start rising above this crap and act presidential. That is spot on and the basis of my point. He needs to tune it down. There is nothing wrong with wanting him to do so.
