This morning in an interview w Jake Tapper, Loretta Lynch said she regretted meeting Bill Clinton at the airport on 27 June 2016. She said she then felt the need "to clarify as quickly and clearly as possible" what had transpired. ******************** Doesn't pass the smell test. The secret meeting took place on Monday 27 June. Lynch made no mention of it on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday morning there was a surprise question from ABC15 asking about the meeting. If the news station hadn't gotten the tip that the meeting had occurred, I don't believe we would have ever known about the meeting.

Along with, hopefully, nation-wide voter fraud investigations.
Anyone have an answer to this question?? "If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

Yes, kind of ironic that a constitutional scholar who has an issue with the EC would not make any attempt at all to deal with the issue while he was the president for a full 8 years. Seems like he was not a particularly adept scholar, or president. Now it just appears to be whining. Calgary Shooting Centre

"...clarify as quickly and clearly as possible." What she means is to deceive the public about the nature of that meeting as quickly as possible. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier

I believe in the principle of Due Process |
Maybe SNL is likened to a bunch of monkeys with a machine gun. I can't say. I've not seen one in decades. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

From the link January 6, 2017 The Congress meets in joint session to count the electoral votes. Congress may pass a law to change this date. The Vice President, as President of the Senate, presides over the count and announces the results of the Electoral College vote. The President of the Senate then declares which persons, if any, have been elected President and Vice President of the United States. Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said in an interview Sunday that President-elect Donald Trump could go down in history as a "very considerable president." "Donald Trump is a phenomenon that foreign countries haven't seen," Kissinger said on CBS's "Face The Nation." "So it is a shocking experience to them that he came in to office. At the same time, extraordinary opportunity." Kissinger said every country now has to consider two things. "One, their perception that the previous president, or the outgoing president, basically withdrew America from international politics, so that they had to make their own assessments of their necessities," he said. "And secondly, that here is a new president who's asking a lot of unfamiliar questions. And because of the combination of the partial vacuum and the new questions, one could imagine that something remarkable and new emerges out of it." When asked if he has a sense about the president-elect's emerging foreign policy vision, Kissinger said he and the billionaire appear to operate differently, but offered some praise for the issues Trump has raised. "I think he operates by a kind of instinct that is a different form of analysis as my more academic one," Kissinger said. "But he's raised a number of issues that I think are important, very important. And if they're addressed properly, could lead to good — great results." http://thehill.com/homenews/31...ountries-havent-seen

Oh stewardess, I speak jive. |
Eww, no thank you. Mr. Pence is fine where he is, helpful in keeping the evangelical support, being a good faceman, good on TV, all that, but always answering to someone smarter and better and better-suited than himself, and with no real power himself, either. Job well done, sir, and we thank you for it. Keep it up for a term or two, then go home. And let's all hope he stays right there, as there's zero chance he could have won on his own, nor does he deserve to be THE GUY. His own opinions and policies and record are too lacking to earn him the spot, but he's a solid second chair fiddle player that DJT needs. And for that role, this role, I like him a lot.
